Not many specific Podiatry EMR's as easy as this one.
Pros

I liked how this program would systematically separate the H&P for convenience and flow. Also, combining the codes with the diagnosis is crucial.

Cons

I can't pinpoint specific ways for DOX to enhance its software, but at my practice, we heavily rely on EPIC. So, if they could find a way to market better or show more appeal to the podiatric community, it would benefit the company and provide doctors with more and better options.

Not what it used to be
Pros

It used to be state-of-the-art.

Cons

It hasn't kept up with others; it's now outdated with awful customer support. They focus on new customers rather than supporting their current ones.

Measures to obtain the government stimulus
Pros

I've been using DOX EMR for over four years. DOX has helped me meet all the standards and measures to obtain the government stimulus for the past three years since it became available. I'm very satisfied with the service and expertise of working with DOX. Theyve exceeded all my expectations in quality and customer service!

Cons

I have no complaints. The system functions as promised in the sales demo.

Dox does not work as advertised
Pros

The feature I like most is the power off button. This program is badly designed.

Cons

This program runs very slowly and randomly kicks us out while we're writing notes. It freezes two to three times a week. Customer service is nearly non-existent, and the notes aren't thorough. Scheduling has been a challenge for my front office staff because it's very slow, with only one server. My billing company keeps urging me to switch to another EMR, claiming this is the hardest program they've ever dealt with.
