Pros

We can track leads all the way through to sales and even automate support ticketing when emails are sent to our Service inbox. We have created work groups for different teams in our organization and use the built-in discussion feature in WORKetc to keep everyone informed about what is happening. The timesheets, which can be allocated to various activities, have been a game-changer for us. We can now accurately report billable hours and effectively cost our maintenance packages.

Cons

Initially, there was a slight delay in data entry due to the servers being located overseas. However, after the implementation of country specific servers, we haven't encountered any issues at all!

WorkETC saved us time!
Pros

Our team has become more efficient because we can quickly input and provide feedback within the CRM. We no longer waste time repeatedly entering data when we have a spare moment. Instead, we can add them on the go, especially with the mobile app. It has also helped us track our sales progress, from initial sales to pitches and quotes.

Cons

While I like the existence of a mobile app, it falls short of meeting all my requirements. Although we can track and input data on the go, the app lacks certain features available on the website. I understand the inherent differences, but having more feature availability on the app would be beneficial.

A good cloud base CRM for project management
Pros

It is easy to use and update records within a specific project. I can also access the CRM using my smartphone. Having all my leads in one place and being able to track them is also quite beneficial.

Cons

There should be an opportunity to implement an automation process. For instance, if I want an automatic email to be sent once a specific milestone is achieved, it would be beneficial for the system to handle it based on a pre-established process.

It is highly customizable and multifunctional. It now takes fewer people and less time to complete tasks than before using Work[ETC] and the results are better. Work[ETC] replaced several separate "information silos" with one comprehensive system which provides improved documentation and accuracy.

Cons

To fully maximize the value of Work[ETC], it requires genuine effort and a dedicated professional owner or manager. That's alright because the return on time invested is at least 20 times, sometimes even 40 or 50 times, in the long run to yield better results.

WORK[etc] connected our disconnected teams
Pros

The project management feature of WORKetc has been invaluable for our work in the healthcare industry. We manage outpatient programs in hospitals, and with WORKetc, we can organize new contracts and create historical data while focusing on long term value and support. The discussions feature within WORKetc is also helpful. Instead of using separate tools, we can now discuss specific client issues seamlessly within the system, as it's connected to the respective account. The integration with Google Drive is also smooth which eliminates the need for duplicate document storage. Additionally, the API functionality allows us to post data from WORKetc to another proprietary platform within our organization. It keeps our customers updated on implementation status and support ticket progress.

Cons

The integration with Gmail is not extraordinary. While it functions, you need to have precise knowledge of what you are looking for within WORKetc to connect the email with the right customer. The system can become costly if you have corporate-based users who don't frequently interact with clients which makes it unnecessary for them to maintain an account. For example, our media team creates customized videos irregularly for clients, so having them in WORKetc all the time doesn't make sense. It would be beneficial to have tiered user levels to accommodate irregular users.

Amazing all in one tool for small teams
Pros

This software has revolutionized how we organize our small business. We love the CRM, ticketing, time tracking and invoicing features. They are all very much important to our business flow.

Cons

The only aspect I didn't rate five stars is the "ease of use." However, it's not really worketc's fault but the abundance of features makes it a complex system to master. The tutorials and help provided are excellent, and customer service is top-notch. There is just a lot to learn. The positive aspect is that it's easy to get started. It takes a minute to learn but a lifetime to master.

Good integrated CRM
Pros

The most valuable aspect of WorkEtc for our team is the capability to connect work projects to customer/client records. Previously, we managed projects using FileMaker Pro but it was very confusing and not easily shareable with the entire team. With WorkEtc, we can link customer records with project records, including product rentals or licenses, along with all related emails. This means fewer important emails scattered across Outlook or individual devices and more integration within the CRM.

Cons

The GUI feels outdated and somewhat confusing. The developers have been promising a new interface for several years, but unfortunately no updates have been delivered. It's disappointing.

There are few expects that are a bit hard to understand or learn. Also the user interface is a bit complex. Making adjustments to projects and tech support cases isn't as simple as we would prefer. I haven't come across any other online tool that offers such a comprehensive and complete solution for sales, project management, support and billing. I have tried more than 20 competitors and combinations of integrated CRM, project management, accounting and support tools, but none of them offer features as this software does. They provide everything at one unified platform. The level of support they offer is truly astounding and amazing, and I frequently rely on them to help me with any usage or bug issues that arise. However, there are a few drawbacks which I will explain further.

Cons

When you plan to use this system, it is important to acknowledge that a toolset of this magnitude requires extensive setup and configuration to make it suitable for your company. You must be prepared to invest time in a learning everything, navigate through a somewhat outdated interface (although I've been informed that an improved UI/UX experience will be released very soon) and be adaptable to certain quirks that may arise when it can't fully meet your specific needs. While most of these issues aren't major enough that makes you not to use this software but it is not flawless in every aspect. Personally, I encounter several interface bugs and software usage problems. However, the support provided is exceptional whenever I report these bugs, and their efforts consistently restore my confidence in the product. Nonetheless, the bugs do exist. Once again, I have been informed that a substantial update is forthcoming, but it's evident that this platform has been evolving over the past several years, resulting in some inherent glitches as is common with legacy systems. I firmly believe that the company is exerting maximum effort to resolve every reported issue, and I will persist in utilizing it for my company. After all, there is simply no other solution on the market that matches its breadth and comprehensiveness for my business requirements.

Pros

The project management capabilities are solid, and the support system is excellent. The support staff is awesome and always ready to assist. They take the time to understand my business inside out.

WORKetc is more than just a CRM. It is a comprehensive Business Management System that can handle end-to-end business management. The customer support system and team provided by WORKetc are unmatched in the software/cloud industry. I can easily reach a real person from WORKetc to have a web-based conference on any issue almost instantly. WORKetc offers nearly infinite customization options. We have utilized WORKetc "Web Forms" to greatly enhance our consulting work. Clients can complete a Web Form that automatically creates a contact and a lead. The form is then directed to the appropriate consulting team, equipped with all the information they need to follow up with the client.

Cons

Initially, some users may feel intimidated by the user interface. The sheer number of features and various ways of accomplishing tasks can be overwhelming.

Pros

Since WORKetc can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection, whether through a phone or computer, my business can travel with me. I have instant access to contacts, projects, invoices, time sheets and my calendar, no matter where I am. Everything I need is just a few clicks away which allows me to efficiently run my business. WORKetc has a user-friendly interface that is easy to learn. They understand that companies rely on them to manage their business, and the system runs smoothly. In the rare event of an issue, their response time is quick. They prioritize resolving the issue and provide updates and details on measures taken to prevent future occurrences.

Cons

While I am extremely satisfied with how WORKetc allows me to manage my business operations, there are a few adjustments I would like to see concerning quotes. Currently, when I create a quote with a specific amount of time, it automatically appears on my next timesheet. However, I consider a quote as something I provide to clients or potential clients before they hire or approve our work. Therefore, I prefer it to only be visible on the quote itself. Once they hire us, I still don't want it to appear anywhere until we have completed the work or decided to bill it. Typically, we don't convert quotes to invoices but bill based on the project and compare it to the original quote when creating the invoice. Additionally, it would be really helpful to attach a quote to a project, especially when we provide additional work on a specific project that requires multiple quotes. Currently, it becomes cumbersome when multiple projects for one client have multiple quotes.

The search feature offered by WORKetc is very useful and powerful. It allows me to quickly find what I am looking for across all departments within the CRM. I also like the integration with third-party apps like Outlook and Evernote, which allows me to track everything through WORKetc without additional effort. The customized web forms and campaign features make it easy to capture information in bulk and communicate with clients without the hassle of regular email.

Cons

A significant feature we would love to have in WORKetc is a client proofing system. As a graphic-based company, we frequently send multiple graphic assets to clients. It becomes tedious to upload attachments to an email in WORKetc, as it only allows one upload at a time. Having a feature that allow us to mass upload assets into a 'ticket' or even the customer portal, where clients can provide live feedback, would be a valuable addition to WORKetc and make it a leading CRM solution for proof-based companies.

Cons

It can be quite complex, and it would be beneficial to have a more detailed and easily accessible manual or a simple link like "Get help for this page." WorkEtc is an ideal solution for virtual teams and offices to keep their data connected. It works very well for employees in different time zones and countries. We have been able to automate some business processes, including support cases, projects, tasks and invoicing.

Cons

We have been disappointed with the complex and time-consuming process of tracking project time and generating invoices. We use another solution to track project time (which lacks invoicing capabilities) and manually enter the time into the invoice. For some reason, the workflow in WorkEtc is not as efficient as the other solution we use. However, their customer support team is highly efficient. Nonetheless, it feels like the product development is slow and often behind schedule. (Sign up because you appreciate the existing features, not just the features they are promising.)

Pros

WORKetc goes beyond being just a CRM for us. It covers every step of our client journey, from the initial meeting to the sales cycle, proposal, contract, project, invoicing and reporting. WORKetc - Breaking down the communication barriers
Pros

The best thing about WORKetc is that it serves as a centralized hub for our entire company. It is the go to place for finding information about clients and companies. If anyone has questions, they can find answers here or communicate with the team through WORKetc which ensures that all the information is captured in one place. Even when someone is on the road, they can check the status of leads or projects using WORKetc. We no longer need to search through multiple sources or send numerous emails to get our answers; everything is conveniently located in one place.

Cons

I am aware that their upcoming mobile app and it will be fantastic and greatly assist our team members who travel. However, it is currently experiencing some bugs. A few of us participated in the beta testing, and when it was finally released to the public, we were thrilled to share it with our team. During our team training, we encountered a bug in the app around the second step of our walk-through. Despite this, I have high hopes for the app's future. The aspect I am least satisfied with currently, in April 2015, will likely become one of the things I love second most about WORKetc in the future.

Flexible, easy to learn and awesome user guides
Pros

The user guides provided by WORKetc are awesome and easy to understand. The videos are fantastic which gives a feel like attending a class with a trainer. The interface is fast and intuitive, and everything is seamlessly interconnected. We appreciate the ability to have a ticket queue and track the progress of each ticket. The system's flexibility allows us to customize it according to our needs.

Cons

Interestingly, one of the pros could also be considered a con. The system is incredibly flexible, which sometimes makes it challenging to decide which tags to create and how to best utilize certain features like discussions versus notes. I don't see this as a significant drawback, but it does require some time to determine the most effective way to leverage the system for the company's benefit. The mobile apps are still in an early stage, where improvements can be made. The recently released iPhone app is user-friendly, while the Android app lags behind. However, I am confident that both will soon be excellent.

The back-end of WORKetc is great a sit provides a solid and agile solution. While the front-end design may be overwhelming at times, it still functions nicely.

Pros

Everything is very nicely centralized in one site. The project management aspect is simple to handle and timesheets can be easily added or modified. Contact management is exceptionally simple to understand and here a lot of customization options are available.

Cons

The current Android app is below expectations. Fortunately, the new version is currently in beta, and I hope it will make the app more worthwhile. Occasionally, there are visual glitches (such as popups not remembering their size after resizing).

It is very fast, clean, adaptable and powerful. The system is simple yet advanced, with careful consideration given to every aspect. What sets this company apart is that they genuinely value customer ideas. They time to time focus on the wish lists of clients and make improvements. It is something that shows their dedication to keeping customers satisfied.

Cons

The apps for iPhone and Android are great, but there is always room for improvement. Interestingly, as soon as you think "they could be better," you discover that they are launching a complete overhaul with every imaginable improvement. So, we have to wait for a month, but I can handle it. The user interface is not unattractive; it is easy to navigate and use. However, it could benefit from some refinements and a fresh look. Apparently, V5 is about to be released, and it promises to have an exceptionally clean and simple appearance. I can patiently wait for that.
