MemberCheck Features
Intelligent Filters And Fuzzy Matching
MemberCheck uses smart filters to search large databases and find people or companies that may be at risk. Even if names are spelled differently or contain minor errors, the fuzzy matching feature helps catch them up. This way, your business doesn’t miss potential links to money laundering or terrorism financing just because the name wasn’t exact.
Comprehensive Due Diligence
With MemberCheck, you can perform detailed background checks on clients, partners, or transactions. It checks if people are on government watchlists, connected to crime, or mentioned in bad media. The platform also allows you to rate the riskiness of each profile, enabling you to make informed decisions and easily meet compliance rules.
Ongoing Monitoring
MemberCheck continues to check client information even after the first scan. If a customer’s risk status changes, such as if they appear on a new sanctions list, you’ll be notified right away. This ongoing monitoring enables your team to act quickly and stay updated without having to manually check everything repeatedly.
Jurisdiction Risk Analysis
Some countries are riskier than others in terms of crime or terrorism. MemberCheck provides insights into the risk levels associated with different regions, helping businesses identify high-risk countries. This enables organizations to avoid trouble and safeguard their businesses against legal and financial risks.
Reporting And Alerts
The platform can quickly create reports that show all the checks you’ve done. These reports help you prove to regulators that your business is following the rules. You’ll also receive email alerts whenever a risk is identified, allowing you to respond quickly and take the necessary action without delay.

“Affordable AML with solid efficiency”
Pros
I like that it is affordable making the Thomson Reuters World-Check Database a great option compared to others. Plus the legacy system is easy to navigate and features like API integration and Batch Scanning really enhance our workflow.
Cons
In my opinion it could use some additional features like ongoing monitoring but from what I understand this is already planned for future updates.
