“Easy to use Accounting software

Pros

What stands out to me about FloQast is its usability compared to other software available in the market. The setup process was simple and did not take much time. The customer support is fantastic as they respond quickly to any issues that arise. They are also receptive to customer feedback and requests.

Cons

FloQast works well for our current company size, but I do not believe it would be suitable for larger companies with a high volume of transactions. Some aspects could be more customizable, but overall it is quite standard.

Its pretty easy to sync FloQast with your accounting software and it provides a consolidated checklist and reconciliations all in one place.

Cons

The cost is the main concern. While FloQast offers many great features, the price to utilize everything can be high for smaller companies.

Using it is fairly easy as I compared to other programs I used before. When I train new team members, they grasp it instantly.

Cons

Our main issue is having to manually click refresh instead of it updating automatically. However, it is not a significant problem.

The integration of FloQast with our ERP system went smoothly. FloQast is a user-friendly and one of the best product that facilitates the rollout and adoption across the business. It has enhanced visibility into the close process for each operational business unit, leading to increased efficiency. Moreover, the perm file feature consolidates desktop procedures and essential information in one accessible place which benefits new employee onboarding and knowledge retention.

Cons

I feel that the Compliance function needs further development. While FloQast is constantly improving and evolving, AuditBoard currently provides a better solution for the needs of public companies.

Pros

With FloQast, our entire month-end process can be easily accessed through a single user-friendly website that syncs with major ERP systems. Real-time updates are just a click away, allowing us to stay informed when it matters most. Gone are the days of relying on emails for approvals and cluttering our work inbox. FloQast seamlessly integrates with communication apps like Slack, promptly alerting us to items that require attention. The auto rec recon functionality also eliminates the need for cumbersome Excel reconciliations. Overall, its an amazing, cost-effective, and cutting-edge product that I would recommend to accounting/finance teams of any size.

Cons

FloQast is still refining some of its features, which can be a bit time-consuming. Uploading account reconciliations requires navigating through folders, remembering their location, and scrolling to upload. This process could be improved by allowing direct attachment of reconciliations on the FloQast recon tab. Another area that could be enhanced is the auto rec sync with ERP systems, as it picks up new additions in the general ledger but does not remove items that have been removed or reclassified from specific GL accounts. With multiple users involved, this can cause confusion when items are removed but remain unmatched in the reconciliation.

I am very much impressed with the visibility FloQast provides for our closing process. The interactive dashboard offers a comprehensive snapshot with convenient filters which makes it efficient and prefect to track progress and navigate to specific tasks for review and sign-off.

Cons

Honestly, I have not come across any drawbacks with FloQast!

FloQast is designed with accountants in mind which makes it highly user-friendly. It caters precisely to the functions we need.

There are still some manual processes that have not been automated yet, particularly with rolling folders forward.
