Time-saving report packs

Pros

I find it very easy to handle. Being able to dig into consolidated figures and see the detailed transaction breakdowns across different entities gives me excellent transparency into our financials. Having account-specific exchange rates makes equity translations so much smoother. The report packs are a real time-saver during month-end close.

Cons

Running consolidated reports is a bit of a pain since you can't use historic rates to translate equity automatically. Instead, I have to manually set exchange rates for specific account codes which takes extra time.

Way better than the competitors

Pros

I was pretty skeptical at first since it seemed too good to be true compared to other Xero consolidation tools we looked at. But wow, was I wrong! The interface is super user-friendly and makes everything feel simple. What really impressed me is how easily I can customize report layouts to fit exactly what we need. Switching between different companies and currencies is not hard. For the price point, you really can't beat the value. Plus, the team actually listens to feedback which is refreshing.

Cons

The refresh times could be better. It takes around 5-6 minutes for a full group refresh. I'm not sure if there's room for improvement there. When you provide feedback, implementation tends to be slow though I get it considering the pricing. One thing I'd really like to see is a 3-way forecasting feature added though I know that's probably a big request!

Great Xero integration

Pros

The Xero integration works flawlessly without any hiccups. While the standard reports cover most of what I need, creating and tweaking custom reports is quick and simple.

Cons

The adjustment features need some work and could definitely be better

very user-friendly and saves loads of time

Pros

Setup was not a problem and it us very user-friendly, saving me loads of time compared to my old method of exporting from QuickBooks and manually working in spreadsheets. Plus the support team is active and quick to help too and the pricing is very fair.

Cons

I do not have any real complaints. Of course I have ideas for new features like any user would and the support team has always been open to hearing them.

a perfect solution for xero users

Pros

This is a perfect solution for Xero users with multiple businesses to report on. Configuration and data import are also simple, the one-click feature for adding accounts is great and the flexibility to segment reports is very useful.

Cons

In my opinion the foreign exchange handling is a major problem. The exchange rates and balances in the platform don't match whats in our Xero accounting software which creates confusing and inconsistent reports. I think it should simply pull the final, correct numbers directly from Xero instead of trying to calculate them on its own.

Completely resolved our reporting problem

Pros

We operate three separate entities in Xero and could never see a unified report which made analysis very difficult. But Joiin completely resolved this problem for us.

Cons

You can tell it's a newer product as it is missing some features like grouping by clients for accounts receivable. The upside is that the development team is very receptive to our suggestions for new capabilities.

an invaluable and efficient tool for specialists

Pros

I would say it is an invaluable tool for specialists who handle financial consolidation every day. Also it is incredibly efficient.

Cons

It would be helpful to have more flexibility in how reports are displayed such as adding custom columns or using a color scale for better visual analysis.

Userfriendly tool

Easy to use and offered at a great price

Pros

Umm I use this with QuickBooks and it gives me a simple way to pull my monthly reports together. The support team is always quick to respond and some of their newer report templates have been especially helpful !

Cons

I have no criticisms as it is very easy to use and offered at a great price.
