What I liked most about this product is how useful it is when I need to quickly produce an estimate for a job.
Cons
Besides being a great tool for rushed job estimates, sometimes it's not as accurate as I'd hope. I prefer estimating ourselves, but when in need, it's a lifesaver!

Pros
Best Bid is is very easy to use, highly accurate, and allows me to make necessary changes for both residential and commercial quotes. Steve, who provides support, is great to deal with, available 24/7, very eager to help if I get stuck, and will guide me through every step. Another great feature is the cost compared to other software; it's much more affordable.
Cons
There's nothing I don't like about this product; I find it extremely simple to use.

The software meets all my needs and does it the way I like. I could actually speak with someone who understands estimating and my requirements, rather than just a salesperson.
Cons

I'm an electrical estimator for R&C, a small electrical contractor handling residential and commercial projects from 1,000 to 80,000 sq. ft. Previously, I used McCormick and On Screen Takeoff or did manual estimates from blueprints. Paper forms are outdated, and larger programs like McCormick aren't very electrician-friendly. I believe the best estimators are those working in the field. Best Bid is user-friendly enough for electricians to learn estimating easily. The software must be simple and efficient to save time and give a competitive edge. Best Bid is user-friendly, efficient, and has halved the data entry time for projects. It offers easy creation of custom assemblies, a wide range of predefined assemblies, built-in proposals, and a broad range of material costs. The net price feature improves pricing accuracy. Best Bid's customer service is outstanding, with quick and helpful responses. I also own First Choice, Digi-Count, and Panel Scheduling, and I'm satisfied with these programs. I look forward to seeing what other programs they offer in the future. Best Bid has helped me submit more accurate bids, reduced project time, and allowed me to take on extra projects each week.
