It's a one stop shop for handling all our media uploads which keeps things simple.

Cons

Integrating it into an existing solution was tricky because it wasn't fully compatible which slowed me down.

Pros

Their widget is definitely the best one I've tried. All the integrations are great and the price is better than a lot of other options out there.

Cons

There are still some UX issues in the builder in my opinion. The docs sometimes don't explain things well, auto file storing is disallowed and the app can get messy quickly.

Pros

I don't have to waste time designing an upload feature from scratch. I just plug it in and it works which saves me a ton of mental energy and hours of work.

Cons

Some documentation is confusing or a bit outdated. At the time I was using it, there wasn't a React library, though I know the team is working on it.

Whole system is easy, professional and clean for me. The Javascript docs were well organized and actually made sense which isn't always the case for my team.

I got a bit frustrated with validation, it was more complicated than I expected. I was hoping for inline validation but it took longer to set up.

We can get pictures up fast without building our own special server. Being built just for images makes the whole process quick and simple which is exactly what our users want.

I wish the cover photo could load immediately so clients can visualize it before publishing.

It's just easy to use. The free plan gives me more than enough to get started. The filters and image editing options are amazing. I love that I can customize it with my own button and views. You can tell it was built for developers. I didn't need to add any strange libraries or mess up my code. The documentation is clear and the community is big enough to find help when you need it.

Cons

Overall it's great but I don't like the validations API. You have to include extra methods to handle errors and validations for simple things like file type or size. It works but it should be simpler to implement.

API is fantastic whether you're using JS or PHP. I've got it working smoothly with a Laravel backend and an Angular frontend without any headaches.

Cons

It would be nice for me to have more tutorials or videos for the PHP library and the video functionality.

Very rarely, when users crop images, the generated link breaks. Since the system is constantly updated, I'm confident this will be fixed quickly.

It's very easy to use and everything is explained well. I use it on my Shopify store and it works perfectly.

Cons

The system is fast, well developed and easy to install. For me uploading from Instagram, Facebook and other platforms via mobile is simple and smooth thanks to the widget.

Getting it integrated was really easy for my team. Being able to serve images at any size we need on the fly has been a huge upgrade from trying to build our own hosting solution.

There have been small hiccups with the API and the JavaScript for the upload widget but the team has always been responsive when I raised concerns.

For three years, it's been rock great without any problems. I noticed their support team replies really fast. For me cool features like pulling images directly from Facebook or Instagram are a nice bonus.

It's not the easiest to install initially. I find it very developer centric which engineers might enjoy and the documentation is good but sometimes hard to locate.

“full API with handy plugins

Pros

They offer an HTML Widget, a full REST API and I can send everything straight to my own Amazon S3 bucket. The documentation is good and they even have a handy Wordpress plugin.

Cons

The WordPress widget is still missing a few features but the current plugin is sufficient for me to continue working without issues.
