“promising tracking tool”
Pros
Everything I've been able to use so far makes this seem like a really durable program. It looks like it will make tracking really easy for us.
Cons
New user here but I haven't run into any issues yet but I'm still new to the program.

“Easy configuration”
Pros
Once I understood that every selectable option has to be entered into the drop-down menus, the system became pretty user friendly to work with.
Cons
There's a lot to learn and with everything else on my plate that doesn't involve SchoolDude or Energy Manager, I just can't dedicate the time to explore everything. Since I'm only part time, I really don't have enough time to take advantage of all the features these programs offer.

“Stats refresh automatically daily”
Pros
After spending some time with the fully loaded Energy Manager program, the interface felt very uncomplicated to use. Setting up reports was quick and easy and it was simple to pull the exact information I needed. Entering current billing data is manageable when you have the time for it. Since I don't, having the Dude team pull that information from the same sources I use and enter the billing details for me will keep my reports and Energy Star statistics consistently up to date. That's a big plus.
Cons
Testing the Interval Data module was a failure for our needs because the information lagged by about two days and to really make use of that data, real-time access is the better option.

“Reporting suite pulls its weight”
Pros
Having energy usage tracked separately from energy costs has been really useful. The software also pulls utility bills directly from vendor websites automatically which makes billing information much easier to manage and access. On top of that, the reporting tools do a good job supporting the review and analysis of energy data.
Cons
Additional bill categorization options for comparisons would be a great upgrade, such as separating the main building from modular classrooms or looking at athletic facilities alone without including the instructional areas of the property.

“charts adapt to any view”
Pros
Moving from our previous software to Energy Manager went very well. The transition was smooth and the platform gives us many more options to view data through different chart types depending on what we need.
Cons
We found the reporting side a little challenging at the beginning but once more data was added to the new system, it became much easier to work with.
