“just an amazing tool
Pros
easy to use and works just like Lexis and Westlaw but it's included in my IBSA membership which is awesome.
Cons
No secondary sources are included. If they were, it would be a game changer and I'd probably use Fastcase exclusively.

“Simple tool with tricky setup
Pros
Great for going back and revisiting old research. It makes digging into past cases or checking new ones really simple.
Cons
only downside is the initial setup for jurisdiction. Once it's set, though, it works fine for me since I practice in one state and federal.

“Easy to use
Pros
Searching for specific terms in results is super easy. It helps me find exactly what I need without sorting through too much information.
Cons
It would be great if it included decisions from state administrative agencies like workers' compensation or human/civil rights commissions.

“handy for solo lawyers
Pros
As a solo lawyer just starting out, having access to Fastcase's digital guidebook and deskbook library is totally worth it. The Lexblog feature is handy too and the search process is easy. It also connects well with Clio which is a nice bonus.
Cons
I think it would be a lot more convenient if I didn't have to download a document before printing it. Being able to print directly without that extra step would save time and align the process.

“cheaper than Westlaw
Pros
It's a lot cheaper than the big tools like Westlaw and Lexis. As a solo lawyer, saving money is really important and it helps me do that while still getting great results.
Cons
there are not as many options available like a people search which would be a nice addition.
