“Quick Setup & Reliable Support

Pros

From an administrative point of view, I found this platform very easy to use. Setting up assignments was quick, resolving grade disputes was stress free and every feature was easy to locate. Whenever I had a question, customer service responded right away with clear solutions which gave me confidence using it.

Cons

I think this platform would definitely benefit from integration with university systems like Canvas or Blackboard. Since students have to sign up manually, I've noticed that some delay it until late in the semester which causes issues. In my opinion, automatic integration would make the whole process smoother.

“Scalable for Large Classes

Pros

For my teaching, Kritik made frequent peer assessments possible both in person and online. Students told me they found the platform simple and I personally appreciated that tech support was always reliable. Managing higher order tasks like essays and peer teaching videos in classes as large as 1,700 students became realistic for me, which would not have been feasible with auto graded multiple-choice assessments.

Cons

I personally didn't face any problems using this tool. The main thing is that instructors need to spend some time explaining peer assessment since most students are unfamiliar with it. Thankfully, the videos and support articles make it easier to get them on board.

“simple system for smooth peer reviews

Pros

What stood out to me was the simplicity of the system. It didn't take much time to learn and it gave students a smooth way to review each other's work which kept things moving efficiently.

Cons

When documents are uploaded, there's no preview option which can be frustrating for me. Also, I feel there's little point in having 5�7 people evaluate the same piece of work when just 1 or 2 evaluations would be sufficient.
