The variety of options to email or send messages ensures effective and convenient interaction. Schoology has truly transformed my online learning experience for the better.

I desire the ability to switch between my assignments and the text I have downloaded. However it seems that whenever I need to access my textbook the system logs me out which might be a computer-specific issue. Although I appreciate the convenience of doing everything on a computer it would be more efficient if I could access both simultaneously.

Moreover teachers can effortlessly post take-home quizzes and provide online lectures which can be conveniently accessed by students. Schoology truly simplifies the learning process for everyone involved.

If a student lacks internet or Wi-Fi access they are unable to view their homework or schoolwork resulting in the inability to submit their assignments.

Having previously used Google Classroom I found Schoology to be a highly robust learning management system that surpasses its counterpart. It offers more than just a simple stream of posts; teachers can create assignments discussions and assessments all while ensuring content organization through the use of folders. While the free version offers decent features the enterprise version provides a comprehensive set of tools necessary for managing student learning grades feedback and communication. With the online grade-book I appreciate the ability to create assessments track student performance and utilize rubrics. Additionally the availability of the app along with compatibility with Chromebooks adds to the convenience and accessibility of Schoology.

Cons

The learning curve for this software can be steep and the user interface can be overwhelming. It would be beneficial if I could link sections of courses eliminating the need to repost the same materials in multiple sections. For example as a teacher of two 7th-grade sections I find myself manually copying and reposting in each section separately which consumes extra time. Currently the software does not integrate with our district's grade book although they are working on it. Grade book integration is essential. Students and parents have also reported issues with items being marked as late or overdue when they are not. Parents may require a more streamlined interface or access to free training. Additionally it would be helpful to have statistics on message engagement such as the number of recipients who have read the message out of the total number.

The software seamlessly integrates with PowerSchool making it an excellent fit for my school. It is user-friendly and allows for easy assignment management within classes.

There are a couple of things I'd like to mention. First it would be great if adding other classes to an assignment before publishing it was made easier. Secondly it would be beneficial to have an option to display the newest assignments at the top of the feed instead of the bottom. As the quarter progresses scrolling through all the assignments becomes cumbersome. Lastly there is a significant lag when creating tests where it takes a minute to add a whole question to the screen. The lag is quite noticeable.

I am truly impressed by the functionality of Schoology! As a parent it served as an invaluable tool for staying connected with my son's teachers during his time in preschool. While he's not yet receiving grades like older students Schoology offers a plethora of features that I can't wait to explore further. It allows me to stay updated on the courses he's taking the grades he receives and provides a wealth of additional information. I eagerly look forward to the new school year to receive updates from his teachers and the school through this exceptional software!

Last year we encountered a few bugs with the software such as being unable to post or only being able to post half of the content. However it seems that those issues have been addressed and are either fixed or currently being resolved.

This software is fantastic because it enables legal 34/7 communication between students and teachers. I particularly appreciate the ability to share flipped lessons videos classroom announcements and homework assignments. Attaching worksheets or class notes is also effortless.

It's inconvenient that you always have to scroll up the tab when posting the latest assignments or messages.

I loved the convenience of submitting assignments and communicating with my teachers and counselors. I never felt disconnected or isolated because I could easily email a teacher and receive a prompt response.

Our school administration has imposed restrictions on certain features of the program limiting student communication solely to the comment section. It would greatly enhance collaboration and coordination if this feature were more flexible allowing students to engage and work together beyond the confines of comments.

Even with a substitute I was able to use Schoology to monitor my students while they took tests from home and provide instant feedback when they had questions.

Schoology stands out as one of the most user-friendly learning management system software available online and the best part is it's free. Its highly intuitive features make it accessible even without formal training. Creating courses and uploading documents to share with students is a breeze. You can schedule various types of quizzes such as short-answer or multiple-choice depending on your preferred time and day.

During my transition from Moodle to Schoology I downloaded the existing quizzes in Moodle format. However I am unable to upload the quiz texts so I have to manually retype everything in Schoology.

This software is continuously evolving and receiving updates which is a positive aspect. However I'm currently not impressed with the teacher analytics provided by the new assessments tool. Nonetheless I can still gather the information I need through tests and quizzes.

The ease of exchanging ideas on Schoology is impressive. Topics can be initiated and followed separately creating an experience similar to an internal Facebook comment page. While I recognize its professional and practical uses I haven't found any faults with it thus far.

I appreciate the feature that allows me to see everyone in my class and contact them directly through Schoology. Getting notifications about new class board additions and assignment due dates is straightforward. It's also great that there are professional communication channels available. Additionally linking it to my email for notifications is convenient.

I initially considered Schoology to be a suitable alternative to Blackboard. However when dealing with multiple groups and sections navigating through pages can become challenging. It was difficult to determine where my comments were supposed to be placed in specific sections for responding to work.
