It comes highly recommended especially the free version which is sufficient for most users unless specific customization and enterprise support are required.

“Some Good Features But Looks Outdates”
Pros
Schoology serves as an excellent platform for connecting groups online sharing resources and facilitating discussions and events. It is easy to set up and manage as demonstrated by a professional development team's experience.
Cons
Schoology's interface appears outdated and feels cumbersome to use. Many members of my team encountered difficulties logging in initially. The features would greatly benefit from streamlining and cleaning up and it would be helpful to have user activity analytics.

“Great way to assign work collect and grade”
Pros
One of Schoology's standout features is the ability to assign and grade various types of assignments directly on the platform. This eliminates the need for physical copies and reduces the risk of damaging or misplacing student work. Integration with popular collaboration tools like Google Drive and Microsoft Office further streamlines the process. The platform offers flexibility to create new assignments or utilize existing ones.
Cons
One drawback of Schoology is its outdated appearance. It resembles an old-school website (like MySpace) despite offering more advanced and sophisticated functionalities. This can make navigation challenging especially when dealing with a large volume of uploaded content.

“Education Just Got Easier”
Pros
As an experienced educator Schoology proves invaluable in maintaining a cohesive approach across grade levels and building a strong foundation for students' education.
Cons
Schoology's coverage across K-13 feels somewhat stretched. It might be beneficial to develop specific software for different grade ranges such as 1-5 6-8 and so on.

“Best Educator Software”
Pros
I am a teacher in a school district that recently implemented Schoology as a mandatory platform and I must say it has been a game-changer. Schoology is truly amazing. First and foremost its user-friendly interface resembling a Facebook news feed and its similarity to early-stage online grade books make it incredibly easy to navigate. The gradebook feature is particularly convenient as our district has integrated an option for automatic transfer and posting of grades into the district database every five weeks. This alone saves teachers hours of work during grading periods. Second Schoology allows students to submit assignments directly on the platform eliminating the need for stacks of papers to take home and grade. I can access and grade assignments online from any device at my convenience. Even better tests and quizzes can be created and programmed with correct answers so when students submit them Schoology automatically grades and posts the scores (with an option to review for verification). Overall Schoology has significantly streamlined the grading process and provided greater flexibility for both teachers and students.
Cons
As a math teacher I wish Schoology had the option for students to create their own graphs during tests. Currently this feature is unavailable forcing me to create graphs separately and insert them as pictures for graphing questions often turning them into multiple-choice queries.

“Great Educational Platform”
Pros
One positive aspect of Schoology is the ease of locating enrolled classes and linking updates to personal calendars.
Cons
Schoology's challenge lies not in the platform itself but in administrators. The platform's effectiveness diminishes if they fail to utilize and update the calendar. An organized and proactive instructor significantly enhances the experience.
