“easy to create and grade quizzes”
Pros
Creating various kinds of quizzes and tests is pretty easy with Schoology.
Cons
The automatic grading feature would mark answers as wrong for minor spacing or punctuation differences, forcing me to manually correct the mistakes.

“Made my teaching job simpler”
Pros
This platform has made my job as a teacher so much simpler. I have used many different gradebook systems over 15 years and it is easily the best. Also it is very simple and easy to learn. Plus I like that I can quickly message my students and their parents if there is an issue. It is also a huge benefit that kids can check their live grades and see any missing work. A top feature is importing assignments through Blackboard which then grades the responses automatically. You can create new assignments, edit old ones and there is a section to save all your work from previous years. Our county's switch to Schoology has been a lifesaver for me.
Cons
The only minor issue is that clicking through pages too quickly can trigger an error but this does not really impact the overall quality of the tool.

“managed grade tracking for students and parents”
Pros
Keeping grades for all my students is very simple with this platform. Educators can create assignments that grade themselves automatically. A major advantage is that it lets both students and parents stay up to date on their overall grade.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve when we first start using it but after spending a few days exploring the website, we able to easily figure out how the program works.

“One of the Best LMS in Online Schooling”
Pros
When we shifted from face-to-face to online classes, we started using Schoology. In the start, as a first-time user who is not very tech-savvy, I was concerned it would be difficult to navigate and overly complicated. However, it turned out to be quite the opposite. It proved to be beginner-friendly and easy for both students and professors to use.
Cons
I genuinely have no complaints about Schoology. It was very helpful when I transitioned from face to face to online classes.

“Better than our previous system”
Pros
The ease of use is a major plus. The student portal operates smoothly and switching between classes is simple. There are numerous options for adding different types of questions to assessments and organizing everything is pretty simple.
Cons
It would be great to have more options for displaying content. Although we have found some workarounds to add a few variations to the basic listing style, it is not simple as we thought. Adding a bit more flair would be appreciated.

“easy to manage”
Pros
It is user-friendly and easy to use. It helps me as an admin because I can help and manage things without having to log in as someone else. It's also just a great educational platform.
Cons
The integration with PowerSchool is still lacking, so our users need two accounts and it creates extra work for teachers. Customer support is also hard to reach sometimes. While they do help, it's difficult to explain my issues and get a quick fix.

“Good place for many things”
Pros
I appreciate that Schoology serves as a comprehensive solution. It enables me to share course content assign and grade tasks and communicate with students. The grading process is simple and unlike other platforms it's easy to view each student's scores. Additionally I value the ability to access archived courses and have everything readily available.
Cons
I'm disappointed that I can't remove courses on my own. There have been instances where I was assigned courses that weren't mine requiring me to contact the admin. This process became time-consuming and tedious eventually leading me to give up.

“A platform to build & share knowledge”
Pros
Its a platform for both students and teachers to build knowledge. It's also a way for teachers to keep students engaged even outside of class.
Cons
The feature where teachers create their own content is both good and bad. Good because teachers are involved but bad because it's prone to errors.
