Schoology Review

Pros

Schoology is simple for both students and teachers to use allowing us to stay updated on class content and assignments. The discussion board feature is also handy for posting updates.

North Lakes Academy - Schoology use for band and choir classes

Pros

I like that Schoologys format is familiar to students (resembling Facebook) and serves as a hub for accessing course materials assignments and reminders. While I dont use it for grading I know many teachers do and appreciate that feature. The mobile app is convenient for communication. Its essential for teachers in todays tech-driven world. Compared to other platforms like D2L and Blackboard Schoology is the most user-friendly.

Cons

I cant think of anything I dislike about Schoology at the moment but Ill be sure to mention it if something comes up.

A tremendous LMS that lets students take ownership of their learning!

Pros

Schoology even in its free version offers extensive communication tools for students and parents fostering a learning environment centered on self-regulation and ownership. Its like Facebook for school but with more features for sharing documents submitting assignments and receiving notifications. It has completely replaced my classroom website and Im sticking with it.

Cons

Schoology is perfect for what we need. Its been mandated across our district and has transformed our teaching methods.
