Practical and time-saving tools

Pros

What I appreciate most is how practical it is. I can schedule the issuance and sending of charges and invoices by email which saves me a lot of time and makes my routine much more efficient.

Cons

I really don't have anything to complain about. Up to this point, I've been happy with everything.

API and support is excellent

Pros

Their API is simple to implement, the documentation is clear and simple and the support team is excellent!

Cons

The only thing I don't like is how the charges are displayed in the Asaas dashboard.. the interface feels too cluttered.

Hidden limits and wasted time

Pros

The test environment looks good at first and it gives the impression that you'll be able to use everything. You end up spending time building and integrating, only to have them later "cut your wings" by saying certain things aren't allowed. It feels like a complete waste of time.

Cons

There's a real lack of transparency and they are not clear with the customer about what is or isn't actually possible.

frustrating API limitations

Pros

We connected our platform to Asaas through their API but later needed to change the Brazilian tax number and found out that it can't be updated at all. The only suggestion from support was to open a brand-new account and set up the integration again.

Cons

Support hasn't been helpful and the platform feels very limited overall.

clear support and practical daily use

Pros

Using Asaas day to day feels very simple and the support team is quick, clear and helpful whenever needed.

Cons

The only issue I'd point out is with the account statement since it doesn't display the transaction description. When you need to review transactions from previous months, you end up opening each receipt one by one just to check the details.

Clean interface and solid API

Pros

Everything feels simple and straight to the point in the interface which makes the platform pleasant to use. The reports are good enough for day-to-day needs and the API is excellent and very easy to integrate.

Cons

One thing that still feels limited is the subscriptions area since some options are missing, such as charging a setup fee along with monthly payments.
