Bryt Software perfectly fits our requirements. Since we focus on Property Management we needed something to manage our loans, generate year-end statements and create tax documents. Bryt has fully met those needs.

Bryt's customer support during installation was outstanding and we were able to get started in no time. The software is simple to navigate and automating key features has made our processes so much easier.

We did like to see a more developed borrower management option. Borrowers should be able to view their loan history not just their payment options.

Pros

Even though our company is not in the loan servicing field, this software has made loan tracking far more manageable. The amortization schedule has been important for monitoring payments and staying in touch with borrowers about upcoming dues. While there have been some challenges customer service has been quick to address them and resolve any bugs.

Cons

Currently the program is not very flexible when it comes to recording payments. If you need to adjust a past payment you have to delete each payment before making the correction.

Bryt is very simple and easy to work with. Plus its much more affordable than its competitors.

I did prefer if the ACH process for borrower payments was fully automated. I understand that feature is still developing

“Excellent Customer Service

Pros

Bryte customer support has been great. Before I made a commitment the team answered all my questions. Once I decided to go ahead the setup was quick and within 2 to 3 weeks, I was live with the product with no issues at all. On the few occasions I needed extra help, the team responded right away and provided great help. The customer service experience has been so positive that it made for a smooth and stress free transition.

Cons

I would like have the option to print invoices, schedules, etc directly from the software. Right now you can only print using the standard screen print option which is not built into the software. While the software being paperless has its benefits, with notices, payments and schedules emailed to clients, printing should be a built-in option.

Pros

The loan software is simple to work with and exactly what I needed. The customer service is excellent and responsive. Its quite efficient and includes all the features I require plus more.

Cons

I feel like it would be great to send notices on demand rather than just setting them to auto send or turning them off completely.

everything I need is brought together in one application. Plus they customized it to meet my specific requirements.

I did love to see features like e-signature integration, upgraded security and more loan application/origination tools. I know they are already working on some of these improvements.

Pros

I like how simple it is to use and its highly intuitive with all the key functions our firm needs. We do not offer standard loans but we issue project-specific ones which are a bit unusual and Bryts solution was able to adjust. The installation and onboarding teams were and still are, valuable resources and I feel confident reaching out anytime and getting a response within a day. Since we do not use features like late payment calculations, loan origination or qualification processes, I cannot speak to how it handles more complex loan setups.

Cons

One issue is that some menus are buried very deep and there is no active grid view where I can manually enter payments for borrowers on a single screen. Automated payments would eliminate this need.

Pros

Bryte loan pipeline dashboard is probably one of my top features in the product. Our management team has a weekly call to review the origination pipeline and the dashboard makes it pretty easy to talk about each loan, see its current stage and check the financial details (loan amount, closing date, funding, etc).

Cons

As a customer I did like to see an expanded borrower pipeline that functions like the loan pipeline dashboard. It could track the stages of a borrowers application, like missing documents, the status of credit and background checks and eventually, approval or denial.

Pros

As a hard money lender, many of the features in other software just do not apply to us and they are locked into the system with no option to remove them. The Bryt team, however,built us the perfect solution.

Cons

The only issue is that our previous Bryt contact left the company but our new rep instantly stepped in and continued where they left off.

Pros

I am a big fan of the automated features like sending notices, invoices and payment receipts. There are many other useful aspects of this system that really help.

Cons

Bryte report writer could use some improvement. That said whenever I have an issue, customer support is ALWAYS there to help and create the report or if they cannot make exactly what I need, they come up with a workaround. There is no help section, so if its outside of normal hours or a different time zone, there is no support available. This only affects work done outside of Bryts customer service hours. It takes some adjustment. Although I'm new to mortgage software I have been in property management for over 15 years before switching to mortgages. So part of it might be my learning curve. There is also no direct mortgage holder option. If you are not the Servicing Company for the loans, the setup is a bit complex and requires some getting used to. In my situation, I have one individual with mortgages under four different companies which complicates things when writing reports, letters or notices that are specific to the mortgage holder. But as always, the rep and team have figured out a way (even rewriting parts of the software) to get me what I need. :)

“Great customer service; still need added features in software

Pros

Bryt is very simple. Also the customer service is excellent and highly responsive. Setting up loans and processing payments through NACHA is seamless.

Cons

it does not have enough functions like the report writer and handling customer overpayments when closing a loan. You can delete pay periods but not add them.

“This software makes the Loan Servicing process very easy and timeless.

Pros

I really like the Loan Document feature. It simplifies and speeds up the processing of loan documents. The automated notices from the software are also a big plus. Customer support is always ready to assist with any part of the system.

I still have some questions about mandatory reports for specific filings. For example, BRE-required reports.

“This is best value for any software I have ever purchased.

Pros

It does everything I need to manage my loan portfolio and I feel like I am in control. I spend less time now than I did when we used a third party servicer because I no longer have to correct their errors.

Bryte conversion process was the hardest part but there is no way around that. Customer support has been very responsive to our needs. Whenever I find something that could be improved I call customer support and they fix it.

You need to spend a lot of time in order to learn this platform but with time and great support staff it gets easier. They spend as much time as needed teaching you how to use the application.

Pros

What I like the most about Bryt is how simple it is. Everything is laid out clearly and is easy to manage. It did not take long to get the hang of it.

Cons

My only issue is that it does not work as well on Safari. Since Safari is my main browser I have to switch to Google Chrome to use Bryt. Its not a big deal though.
