Pros

We use Budgyt for all our budgeting and forecasting needs. Users create their budget needs in the software, and those requests go through an approval process before being added as valid items in the budget. We can also run multiple budgets and forecasting scenarios at once, which helps us plan for any possible outcome.

Cons

I wish there was a direct connection with our accounting software.

The solution is incredibly intuitive and loaded with powerful features like scenario-based data modeling, segregation capability, Xero integration, and SAML 2.0 authentication support. Our implementation consultant, [SENSITIVE CONTENT], was excellent during the implementation phase, gathering requirements, leading workshops, and helping us configure the system.

Cons

Initially, we faced some system performance issues, but once we reported them, the support team quickly resolved the problem.

Pros

The system is easy to navigate, and the support from Budgyt, along with their thorough training and implementation, was outstanding.

Cons

For approval notifications, I wish it only showed pending items when I open the system without needing to filter. During year-end, loading times can be slow due to the high volume of users entering new data, as the system also loads approved and declined changes.

It is very simple, and nearly every time I have a question, I find the answer on Budgyt's support page.

Honestly, I can't think of any cons. We've only needed a few workarounds, and Budgyt's enhancements have consistently added immediate value.

This software is easy to navigate and highly detailed. It does an excellent job of projecting labor costs, including payroll taxes and benefit costs.

There's no balance sheet yet, but I hear the module is coming soon. I'm not sure if I'll use it much.

Budgyt is now central to our operations and a tool we use daily to achieve the double-digit growth we've enjoyed since deploying it throughout our organization.

For years, I did our budget in Excel, printing out pages for managers to make manual changes that I then had to re-enter into Excel. The most frustrating part was budgeting payroll and benefits, which took 6-8 weeks and was never accurate. Budgyt solved all these issues.

Cons

Initially, the learning curve was steep, but Budgyt provided patient and expert guidance throughout. I use QuickBooks Desktop, and the import process to Budgyt is somewhat basic. Additionally, there is no option to export the Budgyt budget back into QuickBooks. However, I know Budgyt is close to finishing a solution for this.

Budgyt has taken over all the spreadsheets, I must say. Using excel was the old way of budgeting, anyone who wants a new and easy way to handle and manage their budgets should go for this software. It saves a lot of time, money and frustrations. This is software is something that everyone should be using if they want easier ways of budgeting. It is so easy to input the data, tracks changes occurring, creating multiple budgets, and does not only allow you to view individual cost centers but also entire entities. This software is amazing.

As such there isn’t anything major, but some of the reports takes a little while to run based on the details that are needed.

Excel was such a lag for us. We were unable to track expenses and keep a proper check on the departments expenses as well. Budgyt has helped us track all our expenses and helped us keep a check and balance on all the departments expenses as well. We can now create budgets by departments and import actuals from QuickBooks to do comparisons.

Cons

It takes time to understand the formulas and how to calculate things, but once you’ve understood, it becomes a lot easier to calculate things. Customer support is great and always there to help, so not much a problem there. They should add budgets greater than a year, which would make things easier for us.

For our non-profit organization Budgyt has been a great help to us. It is highly customizable and managing finance and budgeting stuff has never been this easy before. It has helped us step up our level in the finance department. It is a great software for tracking expenses and managing it.

Cons

The program administrator would have to take a lot of time from weeks to probably months just to know how the software works and all, the administrative learning part is quite a lot to take, but with the help of the tools within this software it can be learnt.
