Pros

The most impactful feature for me is DataSnipper's ability to show the source of numbers and words. This is essential when reviewing audit workpapers prepared by my staff. With this function, I no longer need to search for tickmarks in the evidence documents. Additionally, DataSnipper is intuitive to use, making it easy to teach my staff how to utilize it.

Cons

Although Table Snip is a powerful feature, I believe there is room for improvement. If there was an option similar to Text Snip that could indicate the source of numbers and strings, it would greatly enhance work efficiency. Currently, I achieve this by combining Table Snip and Document Matching, but I wish Table Snip could accomplish it in one step.

It's user-friendly and makes my life as an auditor much easier. The perfect cross-referencing and consolidation of all documents into one Excel sheet makes reviewing work papers a simple task.

Datasnipper eliminates the risk of phantom ticking, one of the biggest threats in audit engagements. The software allows for importing and checking the support which ensures the correctness of what is being tested. It also significantly reduces capturing errors made by junior staff when dealing with large amounts of support.

Cons

Some features are currently unavailable and require additional expansion or products to access their functionality. While the standard model is great, it doesn't fully compete with all the additional features available. Additionally, user subscriptions are limited to those purchased by the organization.
