“Easy inventory and beginner-friendly training
Pros
Managing stock, placing orders, handling receipts, creating quotes and invoicing are all simple with this. Plus it is easy to teach our new employees.
Cons
Barcodes cannot be uploaded via the vendor stock feed and I noticed sometimes the pricing for certain stock codes can contradict each other.

I can't filter the aged stock report to view the real dead stock.

“Customer support is top-notch
Pros
Jim2 Business Engine product is user-friendly and pretty simple to use. Also the support team is quick and effective when we need help and they are always very helpful with custom reports.
Cons
It would be great if we could apply credits directly when processing supplier payments instead of applying credits first and then processing the payment.

“We are big fans it
Pros
In my opinion Jim2 excels at inventory management but the softwares overall functionality is what I love the most. The level of traceability and connections across document management, purchasing, job management and accounting makes my job as a bookkeeper so much easier. Also everything is in one place so I don't have to ask many questions. When I do, the transparent user comments tell me exactly who I need to ask. Plus its multi-currency feature is also much better than other systems I have used. It's so user-friendly that you don't need an IT background to understand it which is a huge advantage!
Cons
Many accounting software platforms now offer live bank feeds which is a commonly requested feature. Personally I prefer not to use the bank feed since it's an upload, not a live feed and I like to handle bank reconciliations separately. This is not a flaw in the software but just a matter of personal preference.

“Backbone of our business
Pros
The entire Jim2 package powers our business and what stands out the most is its consistency across all our business processes.
Cons
I feel like the user interface could be simplified especially for sales teams who only use the CRM functionality.

“Key to every aspect of our business
Pros
Jim2 lets me see every aspect of our business from accounts and stock inventory to ordering and even tracking the profitability of machines, staff or suppliers. And once set up, it's pretty easy to use.
Cons
If I had to pick one thing I don't like about it, it would be the lack of Android support. That''s really the only downside as everything else is great.

“Easy all-in-one for SMEs but reporting is basic
Pros
It is easy to use and covers all the essential functions that an SME business needs from quoting to invoicing, purchasing and stock tracking. Also it has document management all within one software system. That's what I mean by user-friendly.
Cons
I have to admit that its reporting is not the best. While it does provide what you need, you might want to invest in additional software for more advanced reporting.

“Central to our operations
Pros
Well it is now the heart of our operations giving us full transparency across our entire workflow.
Cons
Sometimes it is a bit tricky to figure out how we need the system to work for our business. We have had to adjust some parts of the system to make it work for promotions but we have managed to find workarounds to get the system to do what we need.
