“Didn't do what I wanted it to

I bought LessAccounting along with their bookkeeping service to assist me in managing my small business. What I like the most was having someone else help me keep my books up to date and on track. When my bookkeepers had my information, they were quick and accurate.

Cons

Unfortunately, the software could not connect to my local credit union and automatically import my statements. This meant I had to manually input them every month, which I often failed to do. It was frustrating because I specifically purchased the service to avoid manual work. Furthermore, there were instances where the LessAccounting team could not work with the file I provided, forcing me to re-export it. I acknowledge that some of this was my own fault, but the lack of automation in my situation was frustrating.

The softwares interface is very user-friendly. Its a simple way to track your records, especially for those with limited accounting knowledge. Small businesses and entrepreneurs who do not want to spend excessive time on bookkeeping can benefit from this software. The simplicity of their tools makes it suitable for basic accounting purposes. However, if you require complex accounting calculations or advanced tools, this software may not be the right fit. Its designed for smaller scale businesses and may not be suitable for larger companies or those experiencing growth. If your budget allows, it would be wise to invest in a more comprehensive software.
