It is easy to work with and user friendly plus it provides good support.

The credit/debit note feature could be better. Sometimes customers request debit notes, which Manager does not support.

Manager software is highly accessible, easy to use and very fast. Also it allows for customization according to my preferences.

Cons

The Arabic calligraphy in the program is very small. I cannot control the font type and size for the program or invoices. Also there is no login protection for single users so anyone can access the program.

It handles debits and credits excellently and keeps improving. It offers good reporting tools and export options. Once you get the basics down, it is easy to use. Plus, there is no cost for the desktop version.

Manager software web version seems a bit pricey. Not everyone especially in small businesses needs advanced accounting features like debits and credits.

Manager software provides exceptional flexibility and can be easily customized to fit any business needs. The account heads link to transactions which allows you to trace a transaction from the report back to the source entry. Also the user interface is friendly and simple.

The reporting system can be a bit complicated. The detailed forms are sometimes difficult to assess and analyze.

I will say that Inventory management, POS, payroll and subaccount reporting should be included.

The program is user friendly and free with many features and tools that are ideal for small businesses.

The program has one main drawback that it does not evaluate stock and determine costs ideally. To get accurate evaluations with price volatility, you should use a policy of "first come, first served." If prices in your country are stable this may not be a big issue.

Manager software makes designing business accounts simple with a one-page interface that accommodates all entity accounts. It offers flexibility in setting up the chart of accounts, customizing forms, generating custom reports, managing foreign currencies and maintaining long records.

It would be helpful to add a second-level tracking feature. For example, breaking down Departmental Level tracking into Sections would be useful.

Its impressive that its free yet fully featured but what stands out the most to me is the support. No matter the question, if I do not get an immediate response from a forum member, the software author will provide a solution. The tutorials, available in both video and printed formats are excellent. They guide you to the relevant information with links at the bottom of the page. Manager is versatile and highly configurable which is rare regardless of price. It offers more power and functionality than I will ever need but it remains user-friendly. The software includes many small conveniences that might not seem groundbreaking but are greatly helpful when needed. For example, it has excellent security, runs on Linux and even suggests keeping your data on Dropbox or similar services. This way if your iOS or computer fails, your data is safely stored in multiple locations and synced automatically. The data files are very small and the software operates quickly, with no delays.

Cons

It is not commonly listed in current Linux repositories for some popular Linux software, like Solus. I would only choose a Linux distribution that supports Manager natively as it is the most important application in my life.

What is not to like about free accounting software? Yes you heard it right the basic desktop version is free for life. This means you wont get fancy cloud backups but you can still save your files on OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive and similar services. Also, multiple user access is not included as that is available only with a paid version. Other than that, there are no limitations. All features are available to free users. Manager excels in its flexibility for setting up the chart of accounts. Unlike other software, there are almost no restrictions on how you set up your accounts. The user interface is minimal but user friendly. You can activate or deactivate various modules to customize the software to your needs which helps keep everything organized. You can also set up multiple businesses each with its own set of features. Also the developers frequently update the program, adding new features and fixing bugs several times a month. With the desktop or server versions, you can choose when to upgrade while the cloud version updates automatically.

Cons

Importing transactions from banks is quite tricky and risky. You essentially have to choose between entering all transactions manually or not importing any at all. Trying to enter some transactions and then import a bank file to catch any missed ones often leads to duplications. The reporting is quite limited and the custom reports feature is somewhat mysterious and not well documented.
