Simple yet powerful

Pros

I find it very easy to use and powerful at the same time. The reporting capabilities are outstanding and whenever I need help, the customer support team goes above and beyond to assist me.

Uncomplicated setup process

Pros

Set up process was not hard and having everything in one central hub makes life so much easier. It's organized our Purchase Orders and Accounts Payable processes beautifully. Our team absolutely loves how it centralizes and simplifies all our purchasing.

Cons

We've tried other solutions out there and honestly they felt pretty clunky compared to this one

Responsive staff

Pros

Setting it up was surprisingly smooth and getting everyone onboard didn't cause headaches. I can pull the data I need easily. Purchase order management is where this really shines. Support team has been responsive and gives clear answers when I reach out.

Cons

Hard to get freelance colleagues on board with it though thats more about our internal processes than the software itself.

Simplfied my tasks

Pros

Working with this has really simplified my daily tasks. The interface clearly displays what's been used versus what's left in my budget. The complete visibility and control over all spending is fantastic.

Cons

The search feature needs work. You have to spell everything perfectly or items won't show up in lists. Other than that, our IT team finds it works great with no other issues.

Creates POs automatically

Pros

Creating purchase orders is so convenient since it happens automatically with just a few clicks from me.

Cons

Search function is frustrating because once you click on a PO to view it, you lose all your search results. If it's not the right one and you hit back, you don't return to your populated search grid and you have to start over.

A simple dashboard for hassle-free orders

Pros

The dashboard on PLANERGY is so simple that placing an order is a hassle free task. Also I can generate new purchase orders in moments by using a past order as a starting point or by selecting from a pre-made list. Plus reviewing orders, managing invoices and handling accounts payable has become a much simpler process.

Cons

I think the visual design of the platform could use a slight refresh but thats just my personal taste. Other than that I have no complaints.

excellent reporting feature

Pros

Really simple to handle and the reporting features are brilliant. Love how it captures every cost code without missing anything.

Cons

It would be great if the line items had alternating colors to make it easier to distinguish between different lines when I'm creating purchase orders with multiple items.

Exceptional customer care

Pros

Their support team is absolutely incredible and always there when you need them. Everything is available at one place, it's like having a command center for all our operations. The reporting features give us exactly the insights we need to make informed decisions.

Pros

Using it guarantees we never lose track of anything. We can monitor an order from the moment it's made through the approval chain and then track an invoice from the time we receive it until it is paid. We also really like how simple it is to create and approve orders and a major advantage is the constant visibility and control we have over our spending.

Cons

The only small feature I would suggest is being able to edit line items after they have been added to a document. But overall we are very pleased and content with the software.

Pros

Planergy does a great job of making procurement simple. My favorite part is the smooth and effortless approval workflow. Overall the platform is very user friendly and easy for anyone to use.

Cons

Well the search function is one area where I feel like it could improve. Beyond that I cannot think of anything else as the platform feels very complete.

The entire system is simple to operate and is web-based so we do not have to worry about maintaining servers or installing any programs.

Cons

I don't have any issues as I have been happy with every aspect so far. But just a heads-up, if your team needs fewer than five user licenses, it might not be the most cost-effective choice since that's the smallest plan available.

the best value for our budget

Pros

I saw demos for several different purchasing systems. We chose this one because we required customized approval rules and custom fields on our orders and this software provided the best value for our budget. The platform runs well, the support team is effective and we even received a free upgrade to the latest version.

Cons

It would be great to have an inventory management feature included so we could properly track all received goods and handle warehouse operations directly within the system.
