Pros
We like being able to break down our jobs into individual task lines and material planning. We also like that you work with or provide the View Job Scheduler.
Cons
Since it is based on Microsoft BC, it inherits all the issues we dislike about BC, with slowness and table locking being major problems. It would be beneficial if ProjectPRO integrated all tasks into job queues (or gave us the option), so requests are managed instead of throwing errors due to table locks. This would prevent our employees from repeatedly redoing their work to see if the system will allow completion this time.

“ProjectPro Super Software”
Pros
ProjectPro is simple to use and integrates with our other software. The AIA Billing process it offers is essential for our business, as it tracks partial billings based on previous ones. The ProjectPro Job card view with Fact Boxes provides quick information; adding the Task line view to the job card is a bonus.
Cons
We had to customize our own report to get the information we need for each job.

“Customizable Construction Accounting”
Pros
The highlight is the ability to create custom tools and reports within the program. Every business has its own unique needs, and customization fine-tunes our business processes.
Cons
Like any customization, sometimes several discussions are needed to get everything right. It can also be stressful when a Microsoft update disrupts deployed customizations.

I would prefer more mandatory populated fields.

Pros
The software is simple to use even when I'm logged in remotely. Training a new hire to use it is simple.
Cons
I am unable to delete features that are unnecessary for us, and it costs extra to add new features that we do not use.

Pros
What I like most about this software is the Job Costing functionality and how easy it is to use. The technical support is excellent.
Cons
There is no specific downside to this application. The cost could be an issue, but you can always negotiate with the vendor.
