Overall, using it to track expenses has been a smooth process. Employees receive their monthly spending limit and a virtual and physical card. They simply upload receipts into the system and if receipts aren't uploaded on time, the card locks. You can also flag spending above a certain amount. It's a great system for tracking employee expenses.

Cons

Setting up the system can be a bit tedious but once you're on board, it's very easy to use.

It has been a great asset to our small business. With our team spread out geographically, Ramp makes collaborating on bookkeeping, expense reimbursements and expense reporting effortless. It integrates well with both our internal processes and external systems and is easy to use.

Keeping track of company expenses is much easier now! I used it for the first time during a work trip to NYC. Normally when I travel, I have to track my expenses on the go so I can return and fill out a spreadsheet. With Ramp, I didn't have to worry about it, it kept all the information for me to reference later. This made my trip more enjoyable and productive.

Another helpful feature is the ability to email receipts to Ramp, where they are automatically matched with expenses, saving huge amounts of time. The Slack integration is fantastic and being able to approve/pay via Slack is a game changer.

The mobile app isn't the most easy one when looking for a simple view of reimbursements. Though it's improving I've often struggled to find outstanding or paid reimbursements.

Requiring receipts and memos to be recorded quickly has saved us countless administrative hours spent tracking down purchases. It's also solved the issue of lost receipts we faced with our previous, outdated system.

The only downside I have noticed is the number of salespeople calling from other companies trying to convince us to switch from Ramp.

Signing up new employees for cards is a bit confusing due to multiple methods. Also I'm not happy that one of my bank statements has to be uploaded manually each month as it's in a treasury account that isn't connected.

We can't upload transactions directly to QuickBooks Enterprise so I have to re enter every transaction manually.

Ramp is the best system I have used to track credit card expenses and reimbursements. The ability to do everything via mobile especially while traveling, is fantastic, it allows me to report expenses in real time.
