“SLICKPIE is well-designed

Pros

I like SlickPie because it offers unlimited users, a free pricing plan, supports multiple companies, has a well-designed UI and provides numerous automation features.

Cons

SlickPie invoice customizations are quite limited and customer support leaves much to be desired. The features are also limited which makes it unsuitable for larger businesses and there are not many integration options.

SlickPie brings all the information together which helps save time and resources. Compared to many other software options it is quite affordable.

Cons

It can be challenging to understand the software at first. Also I would like to see more built-in customization tools for users. Additionally the support services could be improved.

“It has allowed me to better control my accounting

Pros

As a freelancer managing my own accounting, this application has been a game-changer. I do not yet have the budget to hire an accountant so this tool helps me keep better track of my income and expenses. It is also very useful for billing which I used to find challenging in the past. SlickPie simplifies the process by handling most of the work once I input a few details. After completing the necessary data and calculations I can easily send detailed invoices to clients. Learning to use it was simple too and within a few hours I had a solid understanding of the tool which eventually makes navigation through the application quite easy.

Cons

At times the server fails which makes it impossible to print documents when I need them. Also, the customer service team is not always responsive to questions or concerns.

“Good accounting and invoicing management tool

Pros

SlickPie web platform is very user friendly and does not takes a lot of your time while learning. I also like that it includes a video demo which is handy for addressing any concerns or questions about its features or procedures. The program is quite detailed and have features like billing, creditor and debtor accounting, tax management and expense tracking which are beneficial. It also allows for the insertion of backup documents and includes automation functions such as automatic payment reminders which are excellent for managing suppliers and payroll.

Cons

I like how the software operates and performs. It may not be fully developed in areas like payroll but I use integrations with other complementary software which helps mitigate the issue.

“The best online accounting software

Pros

This online accounting program is very easy to use with a clean and intuitive interface. It requires little to no learning and offers many automation features like automatic payment reminders and recurring invoices. There is also an automated receipt data entry tool. It supports multiple currencies, budgets, estimates, bank reconciliation, financial reports, expense tracking, sales tax management and document uploads. A standout feature is the unlimited simultaneous users and the Chrome extension they have developed for better integration which makes it a great choice compared to other programs. Plus it is completely free.

Cons

SlickPie is a very good tool and we have not faced any major issues. However, I would like to see the ability to export reports to PDF.

“Great Accounting App for Small Buisnesses

Pros

I really like that SlickPie is free! You would need to invoice a lot before it starts costing you, and even then the cost is minimal. Also it is reliable and meets all my small business accounting needs.

Cons

I wish it could integrate with Stripes ACH feature to take advantage of their lower processing costs. I would also like to see a more simple and easy approach to recurring invoicing.

I value the expense management, cost tracking, simple invoicing and detailed reports features the most.

Cons

Although the software is modern and quite easy, sometimes it takes a bit of effort to get exactly what I need from it.

“It Helps Me To Get My Finances Organized

Pros

I really like the simple and modern design of the dashboard as it looks very professional. The MagicBot feature for automatic data entry is particularly useful as it allows me to quickly input receipts. I also like the automatic reminders which save me a lot of time and effort by keeping my clients informed about their payment due dates.

Cons

I would like to see more charts and additional templates.

Pros

I had to reach out to support three times mostly because I was not very knowledgeable about accounting. They were always helpful in explaining some of the key fundamentals I needed to understand. My questions were more about accounting principles than the software itself and they were able to assist me well. The software is both rich in features and simple to use, which is exactly what I look for in a tool.

Cons

I will prefer if more if they included some accounting tips on their website.

“SlickPie is totally worth it

Pros

After just a few days of using SlickPie I knew I was going to stick with it. I set up my invoices neatly, linked my bank and credit card accounts with the app, and gained a new perspective on my finances that was quite eye-opening. SlickPie operates quickly and has a simple design as there is no wasted space or unnecessary clicks. I did like to see more charts throughout the application but overall its definitely a worthwhile tool for a small business.

Cons

Well I am a fan of charts so I did love to see more of them throughout the app.

“This is my experience after one year using SlickPie

Pros

Over the past year or so, SlickPie has improved a lot. They regularly introduce new features (like the recent Stripe integration) which shows their commitment to improving the software. I did encounter some issues in the past, such as difficulties with importing files from my previous accounting software but everything is running smoothly now. SlickPie covers all my accounting needs and I am looking forward to seeing what new features they will add next.

Cons

I had some issues with importing files about a year ago but those problems have been resolved now.

“Super-fast and reliable

Pros

Finally I found a fast and reliable app. After dealing with a slow and constantly crashing app, I decided to search for a better alternative and I am pleased I did and found SlickPie. SlickPie is quite faster than the app I was using before (I will keep the name to myself since its quite well known). Even though SlickPie is an online app, it feels almost like a desktop application because every transaction is processed instantly. I do not even notice any loading time and it has not crashed at all in the nearly six months I have been using it.

Cons

So far I have not come across anything that I count as a dislike or a con.

Pros

I absolutely love the interface. Its so modern and stylish compared to other accounting software that its hard to believe its free. The interface is beautiful and navigating it is very simple with well defined and organized categories. A good interface is very important to me and SlickPie excels in this area. Everything works smoothly, feels smooth and looks smooth. Its the best I have seen in this category.

Cons

While the interface is excellent I wish there were a few more theme templates available.

Pros

What I like the most about SlickPie is its cost effectiveness. While the app is free which is already a huge plus, it also provides many features and benefits that would typically cost up to $40 per month with other accounting software. I can send online invoices, create payment reminders, receive phone support and access business reports all without spending a penny. I have used other free apps before but none have offered as many benefits as SlickPie.

Cons

Despite the many benefits the app offers it may not be enough for larger businesses.

“Super easy to learn

Pros

SlickPie is surprisingly easy to learn. I felt comfortable with it right after going through some of the training materials. The app is highly intuitive and all the features are clearly explained and easy to access. The dashboard is nicely designed which makes it easy to track my businesss progress and I can complete all my transactions within a few minutes. It is much better and simpler than the previous program I was using.

Cons

SlickPie software might not be the best fit for larger companies.

“#1 Easiest accounting software

Pros

SlickPie is the easiest accounting software I have used for my business. It only took a few minutes to start using it after I signed up and it has only gotten easier since then. The software has some automation features that greatly enhance its ease of use when it comes to automatic recurring invoices and payment reminders. After setting up some basic information the first time I invoice a client I can rely on SlickPie to handle the rest. It has become an essential and handy tool for my business.

Cons

I did love to see a few more integration though they do offer an open API.

“I would highly recommend for startups, freelancers and small business entrepreneurs

Pros

I used Xero for over two years before switching to SlickPie about three months ago to save money like almost $700 a year which is quite a bit for my small consulting business. I found SlickPie to be a good free solution for most small businesses. Its very easy to use as I started entering invoices and generating trends right away. SlickPie is very much useful for sales analysis and tracking. The modern, well designed interface and user friendly buttons made me want to switch. I also use the multi user access feature to collaborate with my business partner and accountant which helps us avoid conflicts. What I like most is the fresh and different design of the user interface.

Cons

SlickPie sales reporting feature could be improved a bit more. Also it would be great if they added features for quotes and multicurrency. I think they are working on it. The software works well on the iPad but it would be nice to have an iPhone app too, especially since many others offer one.
