“Saves tons of time

Pros

It grabs all the info from my checking account and drops it into the software real quick. It used to take me nearly an hour to do all that manually, now it's done before I even finish a coffee.

Cons

There doesn't seem to be any way to bill customers directly since there's no invoicing option or customer section, just vendors. I'll probably need another tool just for sending invoices. Also couldn't find how to log cash payments.

“Easy Business Management

Pros

My time using Smart Clerk's site has gone pretty well overall. Ever since I signed up, I've been able to manage my business account way better and actually feel in control now.

Cons

I would really prefer being able to link my bank account straight to the site, so I don't have to keep uploading PDF statements manually every time.

“Great for non-math people

Pros

I usually get confused just looking at data or spreadsheets. But this tool? It honestly changed the way of task for me. I finished my taxes in one evening which never happens.

Cons

For me, adding more categories for expenses would help a lot specially when trying to label random charges from my bank that don't clearly fit anywhere.

“Easy to use

Pros

Setting it up was quick and didn't leave me confused. I'd tried other tools that claimed to convert statements into reports but they ended up being complicated and didn't really work right.

Cons

No mobile app makes it hard to track receipts or expenses on the go. I'd honestly be interested to know if they've got an app in the pipeline.

“Keeps things organized

Pros

I really like how the dashboard looks and how simple it is to find key stuff. Being able to build organized reports has made managing everything so much easier for me.

Cons

Might feel pricey for some people but to me the time it saves and the features it comes with make it totally worth the cost.
