“Incredibly user friendly and powerful

Pros

The platform is incredibly user-friendly yet very powerful and their support team is also outstanding. I also love that I can connect as many clients as I need and only pay for the depth of analysis I require, rather than a per-client fee for features I won't use. This pricing model is perfect for my firm.

Cons

They roll out updates pretty frequently which means I sometimes have to relearn where things are. To be fair though, the changes always make the platform better in the end.

It is an outstanding audit and financial reporting tool packed with great features and excellent visuals, from charts to dashboards. The recent updates show the team's commitment to quality and usability. The Syft Campus training guides are also incredibly helpful for learning the ropes. Overall it is a top-tier product I'd gladly recommend.

Cons

The improvements to the data charts let me see more information but I feel like actually operating the feature became a bit more complicated. That's probably just me being picky, though.

I can use it for all my different clients under one affordable subscription which is perfect for starting conversations and proposing new, value-added projects to them.

Getting everything customized for our needs took some effort but the support team was amazing and stayed with us until everything was working just right.

It lets us combine data from several QuickBooks companies which is a feature QuickBooks itself does not offer.

The platform has been very unreliable for us. I mean even though we pay for automatic updates every 15 minutes, they rarely work. When we update manually, it takes hours or only updates some of our information. And since there is no warning when it fails, we waste time trying to figure out what went wrong. Also because I canot click on a transaction in this system to see its details in QuickBooks, I have to log into those programs separately and search for each transaction by its ID number which is very slow and inefficient process.

Even though our lesson on auditing controls was theoretical, they made it feel practical. It helped us connect textbook ideas to real-world use. I also found resources like the work readiness bundle very helpful. So now I am excited to update my resume using what I learned.

The space for writing notes on the training materials felt a bit small to me and some of the discussion periods for tasks went on longer than necessary.
