“A powerful accounting solution tool
Pros
Traction Business is excellent for record-keeping. Also I love how it connects to my bank through Plaid making transactions easy to track and reconcile. The integration with my Growmark account is also a huge plus. Overall it's a practical tool for farm accounting, record-keeping and bill payments.
Cons
I don't have any issues. However this level of accounting and record-keeping does require a time investment.

“Saves me precious time
Pros
It saves me so much time and allows me to focus more on managing my farm instead of spending precious hours dealing with the complexities of accounting.
Cons
Some sections like the Field Ops area I feel like could definitely benefit from updates and improvements to make them more user-friendly.

“Ideal for farming businesses
Pros
I love being able to access multiple entities with a single login and get real-time updates from anywhere. Plus being able to scan and store documents related to transactions is fantastic and eliminates the need for physical filing.
Cons
I feel like some reports could use a little improvement especially when managing multiple entities. And sometimes the information does not need to be merged but the reports could handle it more efficiently.

“Simplifies managing multiple farm entities at once
Pros
One thing I really like is that Traction Ag is accessible online which means I can use it anytime, anywhere. Also it is pretty easy to handle accounting tasks and stay organized. Managing multiple entities is simple too and I can easily select the reports I need. Reconciliation is also simple, syncing everything with my bank with just one click or I can choose specific transactions to update. Overall it is user friendly and efficient!
Cons
Setting up each entity and the chart of accounts takes some time but I think thats typical with any accounting software. The support team has been excellent in answering all my questions.

Pros
I must say that customer service is outstanding. With every update the platform keeps improving by incorporating user feedback. Plus it supports multiple entities which is a huge benefit.
Cons
It was a new company I did not know much about but once I got the hang of it, I realized it's a great product.

“Really went above and beyond
Pros
It syncs with my bank and business cards, saving me a lot of time. When I log in, income/expense transactions are already generated and I can assign them quickly with fewer chances of mistakes. Tax reporting like for 1099 rents and expenses is so easy now. As I save time and money handling it myself. Also I love how the reports are structured just like my FINPACKs making it easy for me to understand the Schedule F, Income Statement and Balance Sheet. These reports are available right on the homepage when I log in and I can click on any amount to see or edit the transaction details. It has helped me improve my financial accuracy and understanding of where we stand in our farm operations. I can send reports to my FBM instructor, CPA or banker or invite them into my workspace and revoke access when I need. I am managing our farm much better now that I am up to date every time I log in. My tractor and combine records are in Traction and when crop sales hit the bank, I can assign them to the checks and my inventory reflects the remaining amount. When an expense is charged to checking or business cards, I assign it to the commodity, giving me a cost per bushel or acre. I can also create invoices for printing or sending. I track three separate enterprises and they can stay completely separate or be brought together. The support team is also outstanding, offering quick call-backs and personal meetings with the staff. In short there is so much to like about this platform.
Cons
The list of issues is short. One minor annoyance is that when I scroll through accounts, the program does not return me to the same spot when I scroll up or down. I have not used the payroll section yet.

“Helping our farm succeed
Pros
I really like how it helps me track field profitability. Also it is easy to review my income and expenses and after reconciling accounts month by month, I can see my financial details neatly categorized into agriculture specific categories.
Cons
Well the only challenge I face with it is finding the time to import all of my field records into the basic operations.
