“Terrible Customer service and Greed
Pros
You don't have to worry much while working on this software. It is easy to use and understand. Running queries and getting results after exporting them is also simple.
Cons
There are numerous issues with the software! If you want automated payments, you have to hire a consultant and pay extra for their installation services. However this is something that come as a standard feature in most software. The customer service is extremely poor! We received quotes that were significantly low, and once we signed up, the cost turned out to be twice as much. Consequently, we had to cancel the contract because it was no longer affordable. This led to Unit 4 retaliating by refusing to assist us with our queries and charging for every little task, including installing their own licenses! It's nearly impossible to get a response, and delays of two months are considered normal.

“Unit4 is great for travel expenses - especially the app!
Pros
For our expense reporting, we utilize Unit4 Financials. They underwent a significant upgrade about a year ago, resulting in remarkable improvements to their app and web functionality. Now, using the app to take pictures of expenses and upload them is very simple. As I handle expenses for my supervisor, who travels a lot, she can easily upload receipts and provide descriptions. This has significantly reduced my workload, as we no longer rely on mailing receipts. The app upgrade has brought convenience to our entire organization.
Cons
It is very important to have a diligent and skilled individual on our team who can handle the background processes required to run this product properly. We have experienced a flood of errors and downtime whenever updates are released or new employees join. I have been using it for years, so I understand how it works, but new employees find it quite complex and I have seen other products that are easier to use.

“A good universal accounting system
Pros
Over the years, we have liked the addition of new features in the system. It is also relatively easy to teach someone how to use it, and users can explore different functionalities independently.
Cons
Extracting reports from the system can sometimes be difficult.

“Unit4 Financials Review
Pros
I have a great appreciation for the element structure and the ability to import data from our Insurance system. This allows us to perform sub-analysis and generate reports in various ways that are essential and valuable to our company.
Cons
Unfortunately, we are currently stuck on Version 12. We have been attempting to upgrade to Version 14 for the past few months. However, it turns out that Version 14 of Unit 4 Financials is not compatible with our IBM system. It is concerning that this compatibility issue wasn't thoroughly tested and resolved before the release. The amount of time it is taking to resolve the situation is disappointing.

“Unit 4 Financials
Pros
Unit4 Financials offers Finance users and Administrators a competitive advantage over other systems due to its robust features and well-designed system. The software is very well crafted, and their support is top-notch.
Cons
There are few outdated features, like maintaining Hierarchies. It also needs an update and or otherwise it may no longer be useful in today's fast paced world. Additionally, the removal of the Client Server piece in Version 14 has caused inconvenience for many AP users who preferred it over the web version due to its additional functionality. Feel free to contact me if more information is required.

“Unit 4 financials for the smaller business
Pros
What I like the most about this software is that it is the user-friendly. Also it is very well-suited for small businesses as it allows easy filtering of specific components as needed.
Cons
It is important to have knowledge of accounting because not everything is as simple as filling in the blanks, like you would in a tax program.

“CODA Review
Pros
The software is highly intuitive and user-friendly. Recently, they have shown a genuine concern for customer feedback, although this ia an aspect that many software owners don't focus on a lot nowadays.
Cons
In my opinion, the product is becoming very complicated, especially on the back end, and even CODA support is struggling to keep up with it, particularly in the web version. Additionally, CODA seems to charge for every additional feature outside of the core product.

“CODA Review
Pros
CODA Excel is a fantastic tool to work with. It allows us to create custom reports virtually for any purpose or format. We have streamlined our month-end journal entries using CODA Excel as a result we able to save a lot of time. Additionally, the CODA team is responsive and prompt in addressing any issues or inquiries we may have.
Cons
Most aspects work great, but it would be helpful to have the option to view all error messages at once when posting a journal entry. Currently, we have to address each error line by line, even if we have a 200-line entry full of errors. Being able to see all errors simultaneously would significantly improve productivity in dealing with these types of entries.
