“business card extraction is nearly perfect

Pros

Being able to extract data from business cards with basically 100% accuracy is the best thing about Veryfi OCR hands down.

Cons

Everything works fine but I run into problems when business cards have text in faint colors. Veryfi OCR just can't scan it properly and ends up losing words sometimes.

“Built on reliable tech and it saves time!!

Pros

This thing is built on seriously reliable tech. The automation has saved us so much time and our accuracy is way better now.

Cons

Probably the only app I use that I can't think of any real problems with.

Veryfi is honestly what the future looks like. It helps big businesses plow through massive amounts of documents with precision and speeds everything up.

TravelIt Veryfi OCR has this thing where it adds multiple documents together. If a supplier submits documents, it'll combine them all into one PDF. That means amounts get doubled and you end up with processing errors pretty often.

“API connects apps and OCR is accurate

Pros

The API lets you connect other apps like Quickbooks plus the UI is really simple and the OCR is spot on accurate.

Cons

Their OCR tech could definitely improve more on the data extraction side. Right now I'm not seeing it get to where it really needs to be.

“No issues in 2-3 years

Pros

I find the API simple to work with and the results come back excellent. We use it for scanning receipts and the data it returns is super accurate and complete. Every single detail is there, line items, tax, total obviously but also deeper stuff like store number, register number, transaction IDs. We integrated this feature and honestly haven't had to touch it since. It's just solid.

We've been using it for like two or three years now and honestly I can't think of any issues.
