“Awesome tool for computational notebooks
Pros
The simplicity of using and integrating with external data sources, along with the rapid visualization features and the valuable autocomplete (offering complete repo context), makes Deepnote a go-to tool for my daily tasks.
Cons
I have not had any negative experience yet as I haven't been using it long enough.

“Simple Ui and easy setup make data analysis super simple
Pros
Ideal for startups managing large datasets on a budget, Deepnote offers a simple and intuitive UI that's easy for team members with limited technical backgrounds but still powerful enough for seasoned engineers. The setup process was smooth for our engineering team and it provides enterprise level features at an affordable price, which makes it perfect for growing teams.
Cons
While I don't have strong dislikes, there are a few areas with room for improvement. Multilingual support especially for Japanese, could be better, and I'm excited to see more advanced AI assistant features. These updates would make this already great platform even more valuable for international teams.

“Perfect platform for working together on data science
Pros
Deepnote enhances Jupyter notebooks by enabling multiple users to edit simultaneously, with added support for markdown, charts, SQL and integrations. The AI autocomplete feature adds a nice touch to the experience.
Cons
The collaboration process could be more real time. Right now, my teammates and I have to work in separate code blocks and if we both work in the same one, we overwrite each other's work. The AI autocomplete can also be a bit too quick for my preference.

“Faster, better, and way more user-friendly than Github Codespaces
Pros
As a non-engineer who enjoys automating repetitive tasks, I find it's AI incredibly helpful. It guides me through writing code and can fix errors quickly, making it easy to share the code for collaboration. The analysis is fast and simple to share with others.
Cons
Setting up as a non-admin user in my organization was a little challenging during onboarding.

“Strong system, and it's easy to use
Pros
Deepnote offers an impressive array of features and is easy to use once you're familiar with it. Their support team is also excellent when you need assistance.
Cons
If you're new to it, there's a bit of a learning curve at first so some initial training is required to get up to speed.

“Amazing and useful tool!
Pros
I've used Deepnote for data visualization and preparation projects, and I love its real-time collaboration and intuitive interface. While there's a slight lag with large datasets, I still enjoy using it and will continue to do so in the future. It's a really solid tool!
Cons
I've noticed some brief lags when working with large datasets (100k rows) but it's manageable.

“Real deal for collaborative notebooks
Pros
This platform is the best interactive notebook tool I've found. It enables real-time collaboration with a shared kernel, so people can prototype applications together. I can quickly build demo apps without needing to install anything on my laptop, great for hackathons too!
Cons
Sometimes it's a bit slow or the kernel crashes. The file management system can be unintuitive at first, making it hard to find the most recently updated notebooks.

“I'm really impressed so far
Pros
The AI features are far superior to Hex. With prompts, I can generate code that's usually 75% of the way to my goal for simple data analysis. I also appreciate the integrated SQL/Python environment and its seamless connection to BigQuery.
Cons
I'm still getting used to the UI and sometimes I struggle to figure out how to do certain things. I search the help docs but don't always find what I need. For instance, I couldn't find information about 2FA.

“Great service, but the web interface can be slow sometimes
Pros
Creating new projects in a Jupyter-like framework is incredibly simple and straightforward.
Cons
The CPU power seems a bit limited and it would be nice to have more RAM. Google Colab feels less laggy in comparison.

“Seamless and effective
Pros
Even without a developer background, I find the interface clear and easy to use. The pre-installed Python libraries are a real time saver and the debugging tools are also very handy.
Cons
When working with large datasets, the performance drops. Another inconvenience is that you always need to be online.

“Awesome tool for exploring data
Pros
Deepnote has been a game-changer for our data team, helping us run explorations and build MVPs for different departments. With so many integrations, it's easy to pull and push data across tools. We've created 19 data apps in under six months, which has enabled us to provide self-serve analytics to our users.
Cons
It would be great to see integration with streaming data sources like Kafka, but aside from that, I don't have any complaints.

“Powerful, collaborative data science platform that integrates seamlessly
Pros
It really makes it effortless to gain insights from my data and share them with my team for consistent metrics.
Cons
Working with large datasets tends to cause lag, and while it's fine for now, I may need to explore other options as the company grows.

“The product is great, and the support & sales teams are amazing
Pros
The smooth UI, combined with a powerful feature set and a supportive team, makes it a great tool. It offers just the right functionality for testing and launching interactive data products with your team.
Cons
it could benefit from a larger community to expand the knowledge base and help answer questions from new users. For a product of its quality, I would expect to see more video content and social media showcasing what's possible on the platform and how to fully utilize its features.
