“Loved the MAQL query engine”
Pros
For me the MAQL query engine is by far the best feature of the GoodData platform. Key differentiators for us include LCM, as we manage multiple data and analytics models across several customer platforms. The ease of platform propagation is critical, as is the ability to embed analytics within our proprietary Salesforce.com package.
Cons
We've invested a lot of time in developing analytics within the "GoodData Classic" environment on the Gooddata platform but we haven't fully realized the potential of the next-gen analytics tools in the GoodData cloud platform.

“How to outperform Power BI”
Pros
I love the agility and ease of building panels. Within minutes, you can create a dashboard with indicators and reports perfectly.
Cons
I would have liked to see a table report with expandable views, similar to Power BI, where you can click on a line to reveal more details, like country, state, or city.

“A great alternative to other tools”
Pros
The UI is fresh and modern. Coming from Google data studio, I found it much easier to navigate and add data to our dashboard. Embedding it into our intranet was also seamless.
Cons
The pricing can be a bit expensive for smaller businesses. If you're looking for a simple tool with a free plan, I'd suggest trying Geckoboard instead.

The data analysis didn't provide actionable insights for us but it may be more suited to different types of users or use cases.

“excellent analytics platform at an affordable price”
Pros
We can start with a free plan and scale up based on the number of users. It works quickly and we can easily manage dashboards, make edits, and control user access. We can also add extra features such as branding, data warehousing, and more.
Cons
For beginners, this platform can be quite challenging to use. It requires a lot of training, resources, and support, and we had to upload data every time we wanted to generate a report.

“It is a powerful reporting tool”
Pros
GoodData is ideal for scenarios with data from multiple sources, large volumes of data, or complex reporting needs. You can create custom metrics, reports and dashboards. It also offers excellent drilldown options, a variety of visualization choices and automated reporting features that we utilize.
Cons
Getting started with account setup and report creation wasn't as simple as expected. While the team assisted us well, it still took considerable effort on our part. Depending on how your data is structured, certain tasks might not be as feasible as anticipated, but their team is helpful in resolving issues. We also encountered some embedding difficulties, although they have recently updated their UI, which may have fixed those problems.
