A highly effective tool for marketers and beyond

Pros

The support team is outstanding. They provide thorough and timely responses to any questions or troubleshooting tickets, no matter how big or small.

Cons

Onboarding was a bit clunky, probably due to some internal team transitions. It would've been helpful to have a more general training session at the start to boost adoption across the team early on.

Impressively powerful reporting tool

Pros

The customization options, reporting potential, the ability to pull in all data sources in one place, and the variety of attribution models available are standout features. Integration is pretty easy, and updates come frequently.

Cons

It can be a bit buggy at times and could use some refinement in terms of design and layout I think. It would be great to have the option to add rich text modules to the dashboards.

A game-changing tool for multi touch attribution in marketing teams

Pros

HockeyStack is incredibly flexible!!! every touchpoint and definition can be customized to meet our specific business needs. This ensures that once it's implemented, the data is relevant and provides valuable insights that help us track campaign performance and channel ROI.

Cons

The flexibility and customization of the tool is both a pro and a con. There aren't many out-of-the-box features so everything, like segmentations and goal definitions, needs to be built from scratch. As a result, the initial setup can be time consuming.

Solid tool with a team dedicated to your success

Pros

This tool gives our team powerful insights that no other tool we've found can match. There are endless use cases for this tool and every team can benefit from the data it generates. What used to take me months to report in our CRM now takes less than an hour with HockeyStack, thanks to their backend design with timestamping. Its been a game-changer for us as our board metrics evolve rapidly. With this software, you're not just investing in the product but also in the people behind it.

Cons

I'm updating this review to highlight the incredible attention and care the HockeyStack team has given us. They genuinely care about their product, reputation and customers. Their customer support rivals that of some of the best CRM systems we have used. Setting up the tool is a steep learning curve, though. It took us weeks to fully understand how everything works, but with help from Lily, we managed. If you're setting up the tool, block off at least a week and get some internal champions to learn and help others. Some reports might seem like they're working, but it's always good to check with support to make sure everything is set up correctly. As with any startup SaaS product, there are bugs but the team works hard to fix them. Plus, they're hiring more engineers daily and making rapid improvements.

Exploring the features of the this platform

Pros

The implementation of HockeyStack was surprisingly quick, even though our SFDC instance wasn't in the best shape. Attribution modeling is fantastic on the platform, allowing marketers to showcase the value of marketing activities. The platform provides both high-level KPIs and in-depth insights into channel, activity and tactical performance. The implementation and customer success teams are amazing. The company's leadership strikes the right balance between technical expertise and excellent communication with quick follow-ups.

Cons

We spent a lot of time debating whether to implement the tool, but looking back, it was unnecessary. The tool was up and running in a couple of weeks, and we were already delivering insights to the marketing team within a month.

Pros

The interface makes it easy to track user behavior and measure the impact of marketing campaigns. The real-time data allows us to make quick, informed decisions. I highly recommend it for teams looking to level up their analytics game.

Cons

The initial setup can be a bit tricky especially for teams without a dedicated analytics expert. Some of the advanced features also have a learning curve. I also wish there was a way to automatically push insights from this tool into CRMs like Salesforce.

It is a game-changer. I highly recommend both the product and the team!

Pros

In my experience with attribution systems, you either need a team of engineers to design and implement a system (which can often fail without the right expertise) or you engage HockeyStack, which has spent years mastering B2B attribution. They can implement a flexible attribution system in just 4 weeks for a fraction of the cost. The team, especially Shirley & Bu?ra, is extremely knowledgeable about the product and B2B attribution. I often found myself holding up the process, which was a refreshing change! For anyone in the B2B space, the choice is clear.

Cons

I had a few issues with the HubSpot and HockeyStack integration but anyways the team was always quick to respond and resolved the problems immediately.

Ideal Tool for ACV businesses

Pros

The most helpful feature of HockeyStack is its ability to seamlessly integrate with your CRM and other third-party tools, giving you a comprehensive view of your entire GTM department's performance in one place. It's also perfect for communicating performance to your board. In my 5+ years of experience, it's the best tool I've found for sharing GTM data across your organization. It has become an essential part of my repeatable playbook for scaling GTM at enterprise B2B organizations.

Cons

What some might not like about it is actually what I appreciate. Since they are a startup, what might be routine for other platforms can be a bit of an edge case for them. But they're always quick to address these and customize for specific needs. If we were using a larger enterprise BI tool, I'd probably be stuck with a 1-800 number and a lengthy process to get anything done.
