Pros

Their approach to addressing the multitenancy issue for embedded dashboards is exceptional. I found it challenging to locate another provider offering the same capabilities without needing to manage individual accounts for each user. The alternatives I found such as Wyn Enterprise and Bold BI, were much more complicated to implement and not cloud based. They are quickly adding new features and are highly responsive to feedback so any issues you might face today could be resolved quickly.

Cons

There are still some chart functions that I miss in Cumul.io. For example, the Evolution function, which was previously not responsive to date pickers, was functionally useless for comparing differences over time. While this has recently been updated, it's an example of functionality I was used to in Google Data Studio that I couldn't replicate in Cumul.io.

Pros

The white label option, pricing and the skilled team behind Cumul.io are major positives.

Since it is embedded in our product, it would be great if our end users had the ability to set up their own reports easily.

It's incredibly easy to embed Cumul.io into your own product. Unlike many of their competitors, there's no need to set up a complex infrastructure.

Initially, it lacked version control and multi language options, which was frustrating. However these features have been added and are we are working well.

I really appreciate the design of the charts, which are well thought out. There are numerous filters and chart types to suit all scenarios. The platform also allows you to connect to many databases or web services like MySQL and Google drive. If you want to add dashboards to your application easily, Cumul.io is an excellent choice.

Integrating it with your own API can be challenging especially when dealing with complex data structures and passing context parameters. In these cases it's helpful to contact their support and they are quick to assist.

Cumul.io offers a simple workflow with just two views: datasets, where you can add or modify data, and dashboards, where you can easily create stunning drag and drop dashboards. As a non-technical user, I find it easy to create custom dashboards, which my technical colleague then finalizes. Also it provides great security features, ensuring that sensitive data is protected, with an authentication system that guarantees each customer only sees their own data. Their customer support is exceptional, offering direct, responsive assistance that sets a high standard for other companies to follow.

Cons

I think visual features could still be improved. While the product is improving with each update, things like text formatting, sizing and some graphs are still somewhat limited. On the positive side, this is steadily getting better. Also the copy paste functionality between different dashboards is missing, which can be frustrating when recreating something you've already built.

the interface is so simple, making it very easy for anyone to build powerful reports. I like that it is simple to create clear naming conventions and functional layouts.

I believe the functionality to create mobile views could be optimized, as it's very basic at the moment.

The ease of use and the minimal learning curve allowed us to quickly dive into visualizing the data. the interface is not only simple and pleasant to look at, but it's also powerful and easy to implement and embed into our solution.

It can be too simplistic in some cases. For example as a business analyst, I wanted to add more measurements and compare them on a percentage basis but it doesn't support adding two y-axes to a graph. While I understand that this goes against their focus on simplicity, it would be a very useful feature.
