Pros

Scriptcase is a very powerful low-code platform for accelerating PHP web application development. It allows teams to build complete systems much faster, especially when working with databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and Oracle. The automatic generation of CRUD applications, reports, dashboards, and forms significantly reduces repetitive tasks and increases productivity. Even being a low-code tool, it offers a high level of flexibility by allowing developers to access and customize the generated PHP code. The platform is constantly evolving, keeps up with modern technologies, and is compatible with recent PHP versions, including PHP 8.2. It is a great solution for both individual developers and teams that need to deliver projects quickly and efficiently.

There is no option to create blocks inside other blocks which would help improve form design.

I've been learning the tool for over 10 years and it's been an ongoing process of teaching myself. Training, webinars and other content have gotten better but corporate teams would benefit from a dedicated advisor who understands their needs and can help them innovate while putting the tools into practice.

The many examples and materials shared by the company helped me learn quickly. I can use one developer to do the work normally handled by a typical team of developers. Code generation quality and the implementation review process are outstanding.

It's hard to point out a drawback in such a powerful, versatile tool. Changing a chart, grid or form takes just seconds so I personally can't find any downsides.
