“Build dashboards with ease”
Pros
Building dashboards is easy, analyzing data is user friendly, the drag and drop functionality works really well and calculations are simple to create.
Cons
Not every option is practical to use and it still needs more ways to display dashboards for better data analysis.

“Dashboards that make reporting simple”
Pros
It works really well for presenting our results reports especially with the ability to build interactive dashboards and create dynamic tables.
Cons
One limitation is that we cannot export our results directly to websites without linking them to a personal site. It would be a much better option if they added HTML export support or allowed more customization through editing with a PHP editor.

“Live dashboards with useful information”
Pros
To me the standout feature is the wide range of dashboards and the real-time data capabilities are the best part of using it.

“Great for showing numbers in meetings”
Pros
Turning spreadsheets and raw data into clear, useful metrics is where this software really shines. The visuals need very little explanation which makes it excellent for presentations and reporting. There is also a huge amount of online support and user groups available so learning resources are not hard to find. One thing I particularly enjoyed was the challenges they provide since they give you a practical way to build your skills.
Cons
The biggest downside is the cost and it also takes a fair amount of time to learn properly. The free version is public and has limited functionality so there are restrictions on what you can do with it. That said, it still works well enough as a way to learn the software and start using it.

“integrates to many data sources”
Pros
Connecting multiple data sources and turning them into clear, understandable visualizations has been a really positive experience. It also delivers strong results and the way different data teams can work through this tool has been genuinely helpful.
Cons
There are barely any downsides to mention since we've consistently been able to produce useful analytics for end users and they've been able to apply that information in their day-to-day work.

“Dashboards that actually tell a story”
Pros
Being able to build your own dashboards is a big plus. It is easy to use and the way it presents data makes everything much easier to understand visually.
Cons
One issue is that data or dashboards can end up being duplicated, with two or more versions that are basically the same. It would be helpful if the system could proactively alert you when something similar to what you're creating already exists.

“Automate tasks well”
Pros
One thing that really works well for me with Tableau is how easy it is to bring in raw data from Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and turn it into impressive visualizations using its powerful features. Since my company depends heavily on Excel for capturing and storing data first, that fits perfectly into our workflow. I also like that it lets me combine data from multiple sources and analyze everything together in one place. Another feature I rely on a lot is report scheduling which refreshes reports automatically every day. It helps me keep an eye on key metrics without having to repeat the same manual task daily which saves a lot of time.
Cons
The downside is that it can become very slow when working with larger datasets. On top of that while the visualization capabilities are excellent, I feel it still needs stronger statistical functions to deliver deeper and more detailed insights from the data.

“Dashboards with helpful maps”
Pros
The tool is easy to use and the installation process is quick. The software is very user friendly and works really well for building informative dashboards and maps. It has also been a very stable application for data analytics and visualization.
Cons
The pricing could definitely be more competitive. It can also slow down when working with very large datasets and the user interface feels like it could use a more modern refresh.

“always show you what matters”
Pros
Tableau became our go to place for data visualization and keeping an eye on daily KPIs. Its integrations work well so we can rely on a single platform to track product performance and understand how the business is doing overall. Building custom reports is also very easy which makes quick data analysis much more convenient.
Cons
It's rare to come across a product that is close to perfect but to me it is definitely one of those.

Pros
Working with it is very user friendly and there are plenty of templates and formatting options that help make tasks quicker and presentations more professional. It offers many different views for displaying data which also makes it much easier for end users to follow and understand the status clearly.
Cons

“KPI dashboards that have some issues”
Pros
KPI tracking was really the core reason we used Tableau and on that front it delivered well. Once everything was up and running, the way it pulled the data together looked excellent. That said, getting it to that point took a lot of time and effort because the platform had quite a few bugs and ongoing issues.
Cons
It could be pretty fragile and it didn't take much for the system to break or go down. Every time we connected a new data source or plug-in, there was usually a noticeable delay before the data would fully populate.
