Setting up and using the system is very easy. It helps me link data from different departments, giving a complete view of the customers we work with.

Cons

So far, I haven't noticed anything negative about the program. It's much simpler and more stable than the other tools I've used before.

Yellowfin is an excellent BI software with an interactive UI that anyone can easily use. It simplifies the processes of reporting, analytics and data visualization, making them much more manageable.

This is one of the most impressive analytical tools I have used. It is fantastic for creating dashboards and performing OLAP operations.

I am really impressed with the reporting functions. It is straightforward to download reports in Excel or PDF format, which helps me save a significant amount of processing time.

Pros

It is an incredibly fast and simple product for creating reports and dashboards. It helped us significantly reduce the response time for our VSV equipment and when clients request new custom reports. It is also fantastic that clients do not require extensive training. The integration with Big Data is superb.

Cons

We've had great results with Yellowfin. Honestly, it meets my expectations. It's simple, fast, and integrates well with Big Data. Clients don't need extensive training. It just works.

“Affordable and easy to use

Pros

Within just a few hours, we were up and running. The system is very user-friendly, and it didn't take long for us to train our employees to use it. The dashboards are visually appealing, and we thoroughly enjoyed using Yellowfin. It was also very affordable, especially as we added more users. The program's customization options were great, allowing us to make it our own. Whenever we encountered technical issues, customer support resolved them quickly.

Cons

We really wish this program had a cloud option. While it's great to store data on a computer, having it on the cloud would make it easier, especially when using different computers. Although the program is mostly bug-free, we did experience a few issues with loading items and charts, but these were resolved either over time or by contacting customer service. Overall, it's been a pleasure to use. We aren't fans of having to code to change colors, but it's not a major issue.

“Economical tool for graphical analytics

Pros

The setup was easy, taking less than four hours. It's a very cost-effective solution for multiple users, and connecting to any database is simple. The online training and tools helped me get up to speed quickly, and creating reports, tabs, and dashboards was a smooth process.

Cons

We haven't faced any issues. Customer service was responsive, and we were able to connect with a problematic database (on a legacy AS/400).

What makes Yellowfin great for me includes: collaboration, data preparation, ease of use, data governance, and beautiful dashboards.

Cons

I didn't like that customizing colors required coding or specific selections. I also didn't like that it was hard to create �custom fields� or formulas. The system was a bit slower than I would've liked, but I think this is mainly due to how the data was extracted. The system was user-friendly, but there were issues displaying our data set and pulling data from our system easily.

“Great for dashboards, but limited

Pros

I appreciate the user-friendly layout, the ease of writing my own queries, and updating data in the way I prefer. Connecting to a database using ODBC or other options is straightforward (though I didn't explore all of them). I liked the way the screen is displayed, and I was pleased with the customer service response when I had questions. There is a decent amount of documentation and videos available online, and the ability to customize colors and add titles to pages is great.

Cons

We didn't implement this live for our clients, but it was a good software. If our client base had been smaller or our software data less complex, we would have used it. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but it just wasn't the right fit for our company.
