“A solid tool for data science modeling

Pros

It mainly helps with deploying and modeling ML models. The automated technology assists us in tasks like data preprocessing, feature engineering, selecting the best model and even fine-tuning hyperparameters. It is a real time saver and can handle large datasets, always picking the best model for our project.

Cons

It is quite expensive and does not the best as compared to IBM Watson. Sometimes it does not give us the best model, so we have to select it ourselves and customization options are pretty limited too.

Pros

It has a lot of great features that have proven helpful for us such as automated feature engineering, training with multiple algorithms and automated comparisons.

Cons

There are only a few applications available for probabilistic. Plus I have noticed that they use neural networks when it comes to predicting Customer Lifetime Value.

“Removes the need for dev

Pros

Algorithmia has truly empowered our data scientists and R&D developers. One major challenge we faced was pushing code from development to production mainly because of the time spent containerizing code and the skills required to do so. This was especially tough when we were constantly iterating and releasing new versions. The ability to containerize without needing dev ops support is quite powerful.

Cons

Two major areas that need improvement are integration with Azure repos and better reporting for platform usage customized to business needs. We have both technical and business stakeholders and it is tough to communicate this effectively across teams. Also SAS is a widely used language in our field but Algorithmia does not support it yet.

Pros

It is a complete solution to run any AI/NLP model. Also it is easy to deploy and works fine, with version management that allows us to test different versions. Plus it supports GPUs.

Cons

The pricing is too high for startups. Also I feel like more documentation would be helpful.

At Freiburger Energieoptimierung UG, DataRobot has significantly sped up our energy efficiency and savings analytics. Our team consists of physicians with expertise in physical behaviors but we do not have the time or resources to build a platform for analyzing energy data. Plus it provides automated solutions that help us analyze energy data faster and uncover new insights using Machine Learning. The interface is also very user friendly.

Cons

Well DataRobot highlighted that we need more data to move forward with certain routines. So we are now spending more time gathering real-world data to input into the machine learning models.

“Excellent automation features

Pros

I noticed that some processes are quite simple here especially for robotics applications.

Cons

Honestly I do not have any complaints right now. And I am glad I found good uses for the structures the program provides.

It is easy to use the software for our IT team and we get great support from the company.

Cons

No major issues or downsides I noticed that I would like to mention. Everything is working well.
