“photo realism needs to return”
Pros
The tool used to give me images of people that genuinely looked like real photographs which is what made me enjoy using it in the first place. Lately though the results have shifted toward exaggerated, blurry, unrealistic pictures that look much more like illustrations than actual people. If they brought back the old style and quality this would easily be a five star app for me.
Cons
Ever since the latest update over the past couple of days the image quality has become noticeably worse.

“Great free AI art generator”
Pros
Out of all the AI image generators I've tried this is honestly one of the best and the fact that it's free makes it even more impressive. The results come out beautifully and I really appreciate that it doesn't require points or coins just to create new generations. As a digital illustrator I find the images especially useful for inspiration and composition so it's a tool I'd definitely recommend to other artists.
Cons
The free version does include a watermark and it takes a bit longer to load.

“fun and ad free”
Pros
Using the AI has been pretty cool and I really appreciate that there are no ads getting in the way.
Cons
After about 20 minutes of trying it out my biggest issue is the way it handles human faces. Unless you clearly specify a person's name the results can look pretty awful. If the prompt is too vague it can generate some wild mashups like people ending up with three legs.

“creative themes”
Pros
Right from the first avatar set the range of themes really caught my attention. The artwork looks well done and the wildcard results were especially fun like the one that turned me into a cat and another that made me look like a planet. I still haven't explored the app that deeply yet so I can't comment on everything. One thing I'd suggest is showing the "review us please" popup a bit later so people have more time with the AI before leaving feedback. Even with that it still feels better than several other apps I've tried.
Cons
One thing I did notice is that a lot of the avatars seem to rely on just one or two basic facial poses with only small changes like different smiles, added glasses or a more cartoon style treatment. Because of that many of the results can start to feel like the same image with extra add ons which makes the outcomes less interesting than they could be.

“decent images, limited prompts”
Pros
It can create some nice looking images and for a free app it was worth spending time experimenting with.
Cons
The downside is that prompt related problems show up a lot and the more you use it the more obvious it becomes that the tool just isn't capable enough for what it's trying to do. You end up repeating the same attempts over and over just to get something usable. The pool of material it seems to draw from also feels fairly limited. Quite a few well known artists aren't recognized in prompts and it doesn't support prompt weighting like more advanced tools do. There's also no option to use images as prompts. It does offer a "get variations of this image" feature but it's unreliable and very hit or miss and it's rarely more useful than simply generating fresh images from the same prompt.
