“Good Resume Display with Limited Filtering Options
Pros
The Boolean search works well for what I need and I like the way candidate resumes are presented.
Cons
I'd really like the ability to filter searches by the date of the most recent resume attachment because right now when I'm running searches in our database there's no way to tell whether a resume was uploaded just last week or six years ago. The 'recent note or update' filter isn't helpful for me because it often brings up people who were only contacted with a mass email, that kind of activity doesn't reflect an actual recent resume or meaningful update so it clutters results.

“easier hiring through this tool...
Pros
I really appreciate that this tool takes a job description and searches across several databases and websites, then returns candidates who fit that specific opening. Because of that it makes hiring much easier for our organization when we're recruiting.
Cons
For me this system is excellent I don't have any complaints about its search functionality.

“helpful candidate details
Pros
What I really appreciate is that it shows how much they're looking for, their visa status and where they're located. Those details help me avoid wasting my time or theirs and I find that feature incredibly helpful.
Cons
It bothers me when it sometimes doesn't include contact info like an email address or phone number because then I can't easily send them an email or give them a call.

“Flexible Boolean Search But Tearsheets Have Limits
Pros
One thing I really like is that I can build my own Boolean search queries and adjust them on the fly as required. The ability to send mass emails is a huge help for recruiters.
Cons
However I've never managed to add more than 1,000 resumes into a single tearsheet to enable mass emailing which is frustrating. There are also occasions when I shortlist candidates and add them to a tearsheet but they fail to transfer over leaving me to redo the work.

“powerful semantic candidate search
Pros
personally what stands out to me about this tool is its semantic search capability that lets recruiters comb through multiple databases and sources to surface the most relevant candidates for a specific role. the algorithm actually grasps the context and intent behind job postings and candidate summaries which has helped me spot people who possess the right skills and background even when their resumes or profiles don't include the exact keywords and in my experience this has reduced missed matches and saved considerable time compared with keyword-only searches.
Cons
not a con but I've found only one downside, the initial setup and configuration. because the software offers extensive customization, there are a ton of settings and choices to work through. that flexibility is great when you need it but for people like me who aren't deeply versed in recruitment tech it can feel bulky and confusing and I can see how it would overwhelm users who prefer simpler, out-of-the-box solutions.

“aligned sourcing and search process
Pros
this tool is incredibly helpful when I'm sourcing candidates for roles and it streamlines my search process a lot.
Cons
One drawback for me is having to open each candidate's full profile whenever I want to review them which feels a bit tedious.

“Multi-channel candidate pulls
Pros
Thanks to its advanced search tools and numerous integrations, I can pull top candidates from multiple channels which significantly increases my chances of finding the perfect person for each open position.
Cons
At times the sophisticated tools throw me for a loop and demand a bit of hands-on learning before I can make full use of every capability the system offers, still, it remains manageable!

“multi-source search with matching engine
Pros
One of the things I appreciate most about this tool is its multi-source search. It pulls together data from various job boards social networks and internal databases into a single spot which makes it feasible for me to uncover top talent. The platform itself feels very convenient and easy to navigate. I also like the candidate matching engine, it helps me rapidly surface the candidates who best fit the skills and qualifications I'm looking for.
Cons
I find the platform can feel a little overwhelming. There's an enormous amount of data to sift through and it took me a while to become comfortable with all the different functions and workflows. Another frustration is that the system isn't flawless, the details pulled from CVs and job listings occasionally come through inaccurately so I end up fixing them by hand. Despite these issues, I still consider Search a very useful recruiting tool. It's far from perfect but it remains a great option for sourcing candidates.

“Powerful Watchdog Features But Sluggish Performance
Pros
I rely on the watchdog features and appreciate that it acts as a one-stop shop plus it can connect with most third-party APIs. Overall I find it to be a great product and generally performs better than comparable tools like TextKernel. I'd personally recommend it, even though I'm just an end user and haven't evaluated many alternatives beyond that single competitor. Another plus from my perspective is that the tool doesn't tie into any specific job board accounts so it won't favor one board over another and typically returns unbiased, neutral results.
Cons
I've noticed it can feel sluggish at times because it's pulling data from multiple sources simultaneously which slows things down. Also, when I get watchdog alert emails there isn't any direct link or candidate reference included so I have to search for the profiles manually.
