“User-friendly software

Pros

Elai has helped us cut down the costs that usually come with making presentations. Also it is perfect for putting together client training sessions or decks.

Cons

One thing I don't like is that once you start using the it you have to keep your account active or else you'll lose all the work and content you made before.

“Perfect for our LMS content needs

Pros

Jumping into the app and creating content was way too simple. Also tweaking the color palette to match our company's branding was a simple task and their support team has been really helpful.

Cons

Adding custom fonts in it wasn't as simple as making presentations but after getting some help, it became much easier for me to use.

“Totally transformed how we deal with customers

Pros

Elai.io completely changed how we create content and now we handle everything in house. Also it is way easier to react to course changes, product tweaks or feedback from learners. Sure there is a bit of a learning curve at first but once you get used to it, the features are really powerful. We have already rolled out several courses and it's sped up how quickly we can push updates. Building from a storyboard, adjusting animations and customizing voiceovers makes a big difference too. Plus lots of AI voices and avatars help us strike the right tone and branding tools keep everything on point. Our Customer Success Manager has been amazing too as any issues we had were taken care of fast and thoroughly.

Cons

There are a few things that could be better such as for now it takes quite a bit of time upfront to really learn how to navigate and use everything. Some AI voices and avatars don't always sync lips well or pronounce words perfectly so you have to tweak spellings sometimes. Also there is no option to edit multiple items at once which slows things down. You cannot fully preview the final video until it's rendered and sometimes parts get misplaced or missing. Plus I feel like a bigger library of graphics would be awesome too. Still it has been proven the best for our education team and we are excited to keep using it to make courses easier.

“Makes video creation a simple task

It is an awesome tool for making videos. It has got so many features that make the whole process easier. Overall it is perfect for beginners and pros alike. What I love most is how accessible it is as even folks without any tech skills can make cool videos. Plus the interface is quite user-friendly and makes editing smooth and fun. On top of that the customer support is excellent. If something ever comes up, they are quick to respond and super helpful. All in all it's a really solid platform that boosts creativity and saves a ton of time.

Cons

Well it'd be helpful if the software could analyze the narrator's text and suggest us how to split it across screens with matching visuals.

“Great platform that makes great content

Pros

Elai.io makes it easy to produce pro quality videos fast and on a budget. It is also great for marketing, training and communication. Plus the customizable avatars, support for multiple languages and overall simplicity really make it stand out. And even their team is always there when we need help.

Cons

Some limits of it include AI avatars that don't always feel personal or natural. Plus it might not be the best fit for very complex or highly customized videos. So I feel like new users may need some time to get comfortable with it.

“Amazing for modernizing how we train staff

Pros

I love how we can build presentations with a mix of videos, images and voiceovers. Plus the support team is a big win as they are always helpful and quick. Though some features feel like they are still a work in progress but it's clear the team is constantly improving things.

Cons

A few voices don't work well with my language Czech so I had to narrow down the avatar choices. Also it is clear some features aren't finished yet but I appreciate seeing ongoing development. And as compared to regular PowerPoint I cannot split paragraphs into different bullet points as only one level is possible.

It is fairly user-friendly and the premium avatars look incredibly real.

Cons

I noticed that it is missing some handy features. Also I think the addition of good-looking premium avatars would be a big plus.

“saved the day for my content needs

Pros

What stood out to me was how simple Elai was to use and how amazing their customer service was. I had to finish a project urgently and thanks to their help, we made avatars fast. That avatar let me knock out great videos and wrap the project right away.

Cons

So far I have not found any real downsides of using it.

“Truly exceptional

Pros

Our team used Elai.io to build a digital version of a real person, complete with a cloned voice. Also it was easy to set up and the avatar looked just like the actual presenter. Since we couldn't shoot all the scenes on filming day it helped us fill in those gaps and finish everything on time.

Cons

When using voice cloning I need to carefully fix all the accent details for accuracy.

I was not bothered by the lack of tutorial info though it does have a definite learning curve.

We have been really happy with the video quality. Everything from updates to team communication to the overall workflow has been smooth and efficient.
