“Provides exceptional AI voices

Pros

The AI-generated voices sound very realistic which allows us to capture intonations and emotions perfectly. Also I find the platform very user friendly and the customization options allow us to make precise adjustments to make the voices fit specific to our specific needs. Its multilingual capabilities set it apart and the speed of generating voices is truly impressive.

Cons

Even though the quality is excellent but the pricing might be a bit steep for smaller users. Also it would be great to see more voice styles and accents to add variety. I feel like some slight tweaks in pronunciation for certain words would improve it even more.

Pros

It is easy to use, the voice quality is realistic and I also found the price quite reasonable.

Cons

Some voices use more credits but other than that, everything else works fine for me.

Pros

ElevenLabs software is simple to use and offers multiple voice variations based on accents and purposes, like podcasts, ads and narration.

Cons

There is this annoying issue where the IP address gets flagged for being used from the same location, which makes sense. However if we recommend it to someone in our household, it immediately flags your IP and we cannot access the site.

“Provides a range of accents

Pros

What I love most about Eleven Labs is the easy access to various accents. The UI is also super as it is simple, soothing and easy to navigate. Everything we need is right there, with no need to search through endless tabs to find the voices.

Cons

I cannot really find anything to dislike about this software as it is flawless and works amazingly for what I need.

“Works well for us!

Pros

I have been using ElevenLabs for my freelance work to convert text into voice for faceless YouTube videos and the results are outstanding as it sounds just like a real person. Also it is perfect for storytelling, offering a wide variety of languages and accents from around the world. Whether we need a sexy voice, a deep tone or something ideal for narration, ElevenLabs has options to make stories come alive in the most captivating way.

Cons

Well I keep getting a message saying unusual activity detected, even though I am using the same IP address. I tried using a VPN to change my IP but that did not help. I bought a $22 plan two months ago but could not use the 10,000 words it included. Now every time I try to use it again, it asks me to buy another plan. It is frustrating especially since customer support has not been helpful.

“Great tool and team

Pros

Creating voices is as easy as just typing and clicking is required to generate. The quality of the voices is wonderful too and the custom models are expressive and indistinguishable from the real thing. When we needed support from the team, they went above and beyond to help us with an urgent issue. Big thanks to Matt and J for their team effort.

Cons

I will let you know if I come across any issues as for now everything is going great.

“Best AI voice technology out there

Pros

I use ElevenLabs in several ways and I have a professional clone of my own voice which allows me to do real-time text to speech that sounds 90-95% like me, including my accent and mannerisms. I have a deep Appalachian accent, which is not common but ElevenLabs handles it perfectly. I can even adjust the settings on my clone to match my usual narration tone for my audiobooks. Although it is not perfect for character voices in fiction stories but to be honest I could not do any of this without ElevenLabs. I also use it for small projects, like providing voice files for my serialized fiction so my readers can listen while commuting. It is been a huge help. I also appreciate their approach to ethical solutions like allowing professional narrators to sell usage rights to their voices and earn money. While powerful tools can be misused, they actively try to prevent that.

Cons

There are not many things I dislike about it but it is not perfect. The main issue I have run into is some of the voices glitching. Plus if you are using it for things like audiobooks, you will need to carefully proof the audio and regenerate it when necessary. And sometimes a random noise will pop up at the end of a sentence or the voice will randomly start whispering or laughing. It is funny but definitely not something you'd want in your final product. I hope this gets better with time but for now, make sure to proof your audio carefully.

“Meets the expectations

Pros

There is a great variety of accents available from British to American as well as different personas and ages. Also it is very easy to use. I have been able to find my favorite voice and save it as a preset so I can quickly generate voice files whenever I need them. I highly recommend ElevenLabs.

Cons

At the moment there is no way to adjust the pacing of text to speech. I just hope they improve it soon.

“Ideal for generating any voice

Pros

The best thing is that there are a wide selection of voices available for text to speech. It is simple and user-friendly. Also I can clone my own voice instantly with the creator plan. The pricing is spot on and you I get plenty of credits to generate voices.

Cons

Professional voice cloning still needs some work I feel. And for instant voice clones, there is no option to change accents which makes the voices sound a bit unrealistic.

“Comes with numerous voice options

Pros

We used it for our AI calling feature to convert AI responses into speech with different voices in real-time. It is fast, reliable, has a lot of options and the voice cloning is amazing.

Cons

I find it a little expensive compared to other alternatives out there.
