“Delivers results every time

Pros

My team wanted to push out new code faster and we found that Functionize has quick automation and great features. Also it produces better quality code while saving both time and money. Plus their customer support is excellent.

Cons

We did not really come across any major issues. As it covers all testing needs though it does not support chatbot testing but as we all nothing is perfect. Overall it truly makes life and business easier.

Pros

Functionize has some really cool self healing and test editing features that handle our dynamic pages well. Plus their support team is also super amazing.

Cons

I have not come across any problems with the platform so far.

“Brings innovation to the software testing process

Pros

Not only it have great automation but it is also simple to use and has thorough test coverage. The standout feature for me is the AI powered self-healing which really cuts down on the maintenance required for tests.

Cons

It could benefit from further development of its low-code/no-code features as it will make it more accessible for non technical users to get involved.

“They show great dedication towards our goals

Pros

The team was very dedicated to ensuring we had everything we needed for success. They were quick to address any issues and were willing to add features when necessary. Plus all the features were impressive and gave us valuable insights into our results.

Cons

In the beginning their UI was a bit sluggish but after they revamped the pages, everything loads much faster now. So you can say that I have nothing big to share when it comes to cons.

“A must-have testing tool

Pros

All credit goes to Functionize we quickly covered our application with tests. The built in inbox saved our development team time and resources. And their support team is always there to help and I really appreciated the onboarding sessions at the start and as our team grew.

Cons

One thing I'd love to see improved is the ability to parameterize tests. As a Cypress user I miss that feature.

“Packed with advanced AI features

Pros

It uses AI and machine learning to streamline the testing process. Also it analyzes app behavior, understands changes and automatically updates test scripts which reduces manual maintenance. Plus its AI engine allows self-healing tests which means the tests update automatically when the app changes. This minimizes the effort required from our side to maintain test scripts as the app evolves.

Cons

There are not anything major that I can think of but at times test case execution can be slow and it may take time to assign a VM. Also the visual check screenshot cannot always pinpoint the exact failure.

Pros

Functionize uses AI and machine learning to create and maintain test scripts which reduces the manual effort that we used to put into keeping tests up to date. Ease of Use: Plus it has a user friendly interface and features like natural language processing to write tests which makes it accessible to both technical and non-technical team members. Moreover as a cloud-based solution, it offers excellent scalability allowing us to run many tests simultaneously and speed up the testing process. Last but not the least it integrates well with tools like JIRA and Jenkins making it easy to fit into existing workflows.

Cons

While the use of AI and NLP simplifies test creation, these technologies was a bit difficult to master for us at first. So it might take users some time to get comfortable and figure out how to use it properly.

Pros

Its testing is great when it comes to testing the UI of our web applications.

Cons

The tool does not support automated testing for chatbots which I wish it did.

Pros

I love how easy it is to use especially with its cross-browser functionality. Also the speed at which I can create and use automation is impressive.

Cons

I noticed that machine language upload feature works slowly at times mainly if the test case is complex.

Pros

Most users have a great experience with the support and service. It integrates and deploys well and also it is proven really helpful for us when implementing solutions.

Cons

There are not too many cons but areas like parallel testing, reporting, analysis and parameterized testing could be better. Other than those I do not think that there is much left to develop.

“Helped us a lot with our QA processes

Pros

We have actually seen a 12:1 efficiency increase. With Functionize we can create 12 times as many tests as we could with Selenium. Test maintenance is easier thanks to AI-assisted Smart Edits, Quick Select and Local Edit. Most importantly the customer service and support are the best.

Cons

They stopped supporting Natural Language Processing which created a problem for us. Also we faced difficulties reaching lower environments that are protected by multi factor authentication. However we found a workaround but I hope they can address this for others facing similar issues.

“A smart tool

Pros

The AI aspect is definitely the best part for me. Also it is cost-effective and requires less coding which helped our team learn quickly and adapt to the tool. It even made it easier for us to automate complex test cases.

Cons

Some dynamic UI elements are something that I find difficult to automate. Specifically it has trouble capturing the dynamic properties of elements such as the ones used in Docusign functionality.
