“Precise answers
Pros
Right away this tool feels like it really understands whatever I throw at it. The responses are impressively accurate while pulling together general information from online sources and presenting it in a clean organized way. My favorite part is being able to create and customize gems since that lets me set specific parameters and keep the focus on details about me or the exact topics I care about.
Cons
There honestly isn't much to complain about. If I had to point to one thing it's that it can sometimes take the guardrails a little too literally. For example when I ask it to be direct it ends up repeating phrases like "cutting to the chase" in every response. It's more of a small irritation than a real problem and I could probably fix it by adjusting the guardrails more carefully.

“versatile
Pros
Working with this feels convenient because it connects well with Google apps and gives me one place to handle text, code, images and audio which helps keep everything organized.
Cons
Still has a few noticeable limitations for me especially around privacy concerns, slower performance at times and the occasional errors.

“smart workspace assistant
Pros
Really shines in how naturally it fits into the Google tools I already rely on! Being able to ask it to find one specific detail buried in a long email chain or summarize a stack of documents in Drive has been a huge help. It feels much more like a practical assistant that understands the context of my work rather than just a generic chatbot answering random prompts. The "thinking mode" has also been genuinely useful whenever I'm dealing with something complicated and want a clearer step by step explanation.
Cons
It still has a tendency to sound very sure of itself even when the answer isn't actually correct. There are times when it presents something as a fact but it feels a little off so I end up checking it myself. I've also seen it become repetitive in longer chats where it starts losing track of things mentioned earlier or keeps returning to the same point. It's getting better over time but I still wouldn't rely on it blindly for anything important.

“strong multimodal reasoning
Pros
One thing that really works well is how capably it handles different kinds of input especially text and images. It usually does a solid job with complex reasoning tasks too particularly when you want something broken down step by step or explained clearly. The connection with Google tools is also a real plus since it fits naturally into apps like Gmail and Docs if you already rely on that ecosystem.
Cons
A downside is that it can still hallucinate and present made up information as though it were factual. For instance if you upload a file it can't truly access or completely process it may go ahead and describe the contents anyway instead of simply saying it doesn't know. That gets frustrating because the responses can sound very confident while still being inaccurate. It's also not always transparent about its limits which can easily mislead people into assuming the output is fully reliable.

“versatile support across tasks
Pros
It helps with a huge range of work from administrative tasks to planning and carrying things through to execution.
Cons
Occasionally the writing comes across as overly technical and not very user friendly. It can feel like I'm chatting with a robot and I sometimes lose a lot of time going back and forth just to make the wording sound more natural and human.

“helpful for calculations and QA
Pros
Something I really appreciate is how well it handles the physics calculations I need in everyday situations. I also rely on its logical reasoning and decision-making support in my QA work along with managerial documentation tasks. It does a good job of explaining what is correct and what is not in a simple and understandable way. As an assistant it has been very useful for both documentation and helping me make decisions.
Cons
The part I dislike most is the pricing. Also some of the outputs and documentation features still need improvement. For instance when it generates test plans it sometimes adds irrelevant information compared with other AI tools.

“chrome integration
Pros
Right away it fit nicely into my Google Chrome browser and Google account which made getting started incredibly simple. I've really enjoyed using Nano Banana along with the graphic creation tools especially since I can download the visuals in editable formats like PDF. That has made it much faster to build fresh graphics for my website and Nano Banana is also helpful when I need inspiration for new design ideas. It has really sped up the process of updating my site with eye catching graphics and blog icons. Setup was basically effortless because there really wasn't much to do beyond opening it in Chrome and starting to use it.
Cons
An area that still feels weaker is the marketing content writing. It doesn't give me as much control over tone as Claude and the writing tends to come across as more robotic. Because of that the output doesn't sound as natural or human as what I usually get from Claude.

“excellent reasoning and visuals
Pros
Handles reasoning intensive work really well especially when it comes to complex problems, logical breakdowns and multi step thinking. The image generation is impressive too with results that look high quality and visually appealing.
Cons
Interface comes across as pretty basic and not as refined as Claude or ChatGPT. It lacks the same level of polish, accessibility and overall user experience those platforms provide so using it can feel less fluid, less engaging and a little more inconvenient.

“powerful google integration
Pros
It really shines with its native multimodal capabilities! It can work with text, images, audio, video and code all within one workflow which makes it far more flexible than a lot of traditional AI tools. Another big plus is how tightly it connects with the Google ecosystem and the 1 million context window is also a strong advantage.
Cons
A drawback is that its accuracy can be inconsistent. Even though it does well in plenty of situations it still sometimes produces incorrect or weakly grounded responses especially when dealing with factual questions. It also isn't particularly strong for back end coding tasks even though it performs much better on the front-end side.

“reliable answers for almost everything
Pros
It has become part of my routine for all kinds of tasks especially summarizing content and pulling out important points I might otherwise overlook. The responses are usually very accurate with only rare cases of incorrect information and that's something I really value. I rely on it for nearly everything now and I'm consistently impressed by the quality of the information it gives!
Cons
Something I'd still like to have is the option to delete older searches or chats.

“fast and insightful responses
Pros
Something that really stands out about it is the speed and how human its replies sound. It does a really good job of turning complicated subjects into clear and practical steps which has been incredibly useful when I'm brainstorming ideas or trying to solve a technical problem.
Cons
Like other large language models it can occasionally present incorrect information very confidently. That comes from the way it predicts the next word in a sequence and it's something the developers are still actively working on improving.

Pros
Using this day to day has been very convenient because it offers a lot of features to explore while moving between different tasks. I rely on it almost every day and whenever something comes up the customer support team is genuinely helpful and responds to each issue I run into.

“helpful for academics
Pros
Studying CS engineering topics has been a lot more manageable with this. It explains concepts in a simple way, clears up my doubts quickly and is especially useful for programming questions, assignments and even project ideas. It also gives me more confidence when I need information about general knowledge topics like medicines or new technologies. One thing I really appreciate is how it keeps track of earlier relevant questions so I don't have to repeat myself every time. That saves time, makes the answers more applicable and helps the conversation flow naturally. Because of that ongoing context I can understand topics more deeply and usually get better suggestions. Using it alongside tools like Youtube and programming platforms also speeds up my work and makes learning more efficient.
Cons
At times though it gets distracting during important tasks because it brings up things from irrelevant conversations in an unnecessary way. For instance if I had earlier asked about buying a product with its help then later while working on a project it might suddenly mention that the product is on sale and ask if I want to buy it. That kind of interruption can be pretty annoying.
