“Support team is very hands-on”
Pros
The platform gives a lot of flexibility for single-source content creation especially with features like snippets, variables and conditions. Also, the support team is excellent and very responsive.
Cons
Handling conflicts when several writers are editing the same project can be tough especially for users without a coding background.

“satisfied with the results”
Pros
Right from the start, this software delivers a polished, professional-looking end product while still being user-friendly once you get into it. It also offers plenty of options when it comes to features, functions and navigation which makes it very flexible. the tech support team has been excellent and really stands out.
Cons
It definitely takes a long time to get used to at first although I think it's worth the effort. Since it's a fairly complex tool, you need to use it regularly or some of the features can be hard to remember later.

“Time saving software”
Pros
Once everything is set up, MadCap Flare is incredibly capable. The flexibility across different output types really stands out... the fact that you can create one topic and have it turn smoothly into slides, handouts, PDFs and online help is genuinely smart and saves a lot of time. The service and support have also been consistently excellent. There's been great continuity on the MadCap side so Ive worked with the same success manager for years which makes troubleshooting much faster since they already know how I use the software. the training materials are very well done and the Shorts are especially useful when I need quick, focused learning.
Cons
Took me a few days to get used to the whole thing but once the model clicks and your project foundation is set up properly, the return is absolutely worth it.

“easy to publish to multiple formats”
Pros
Publishing to multiple formats is very convenient with it and it gives you a decent amount of page-level flexibility when you need to adjust or customize content on the fly.
Cons
The support has been very poor and having to pay extra for it makes that even more frustrating. The Git integration was full of bugs and MadCap Central, while offering hosting on their platform, feels overpriced for what it delivers and still comes with limited functionality. It really seems like they are trying to get Central cloud-ready while customers are the ones footing the bill for that development.
