“reliable protection and visibility”
Pros
Performance has been consistently great, with low latency and dependable reliability across different locations. Another thing I really appreciate is the deep traffic visibility which makes troubleshooting and security monitoring much more effective. Prisma Access also makes sure remote users and branch offices receive the same level of security as on-prem users which is especially important in today's hybrid work environment. The policy-based controls are another big advantage, since being able to enforce granular security policies across users, devices and applications gives a lot of flexibility. On top of that, the tight integration with threat prevention features, including WildFire and DNS Security, helps stop threats proactively before they can cause damage.
Cons
It is a powerful solution but there are still a few areas that could be better. The initial setup can be fairly complex especially for organizations that are new to the Palo Alto ecosystem. Configuring policies and handling integrations requires a strong understanding of the platform and without proper training, the learning curve can feel pretty steep.
