Rask AI is fairly easy to use and it offers a lot of languages, which I like about it.

Cons

Sometimes the voice sounds a bit robotic or too fast. The cost is also high and I find customer service the worse.

Pros

Not only does it transcribe audio but it translates it into various languages and even adds subtitles. All of this is truly impressive and makes it my top choice.

Cons

When I upload a .str file with the right timings and speakers it still changes it according to its preferences which means I have to manually adjust everything again.

I feel like it has huge potential as it has developed to revolutionize the world of dubbing. But so far I have not been impressed.

Cons

There is absolutely no support. No one responds to you when you have an issue and if they do, it is usually a week later. After using it for four months I expected some bugs to be fixed but it actually got worse. The French is not proper French as it is Canadian French and it is not usable for the French speaking world. Though this tool has great potential but they need to improve it and provide proper customer support.

“Practical tool for voice translation

Pros

RaskAI has been very helpful for our business as we expand into new countries. We use it to translate promotional videos into multiple languages and it works almost perfectly every time. Plus the voice cloning is amazing and being able to adjust time codes is a game changer, especially when syncing speech to video with active movement or gestures. We have translated about 15 clips totaling 60 minutes and we only faced a minor bug when the voice cloning distorted the voice for a short section. A quick tweak to the text fixed it easily.

Cons

We were looking into lip sync functionality and compared it with HeyGen on a simple video where the speaker is sitting still. I have to admit that HeyGen produced way better results. As Rask AI lip-sync was not very realistic, with noticeable movements in the lips, nose and chin that did not match up. Since its lip-sync is still in beta I am sure it will improve before the official release.

“Hands down the best for dubbing

Pros

It beats other dubbing AIs by letting you edit speech. Sometimes translations do not come out perfectly but unlike other platforms I can correct any errors directly. Plus there is no time limit on minutes.

Cons

Lip-sync is only available in the Pro mode. It would be nice if it were available in the Basic mode. The option to add an SRT file is also unavailable in the Basic mode which I think should be included. Also thee Pro mode is not useful for me yet since I only use it for a few minutes and not having the best tools in Basic mode seems unfair. And the Portuguese language sometimes blends with Portuguese from Portugal but there should be a separate option for Brazilian Portuguese.

The translations are spot on. Also I fine it easy to use and the support team always responds quickly.

Cons

I feel like translating the same video into multiple languages should be 80% faster with no additional cost but the price stays the same.

“It has some of the best features

Pros

I have used RaskAI to translate my English and Hindi videos into French and it does a fantastic job. The voice sounds very similar to the original and it perfectly synced with the video. Also it is hard to tell the difference between the original and the dubbed version. Overall it really makes my job easier.

Cons

The lip-sync could be a little more refined but for me it is still a 10/10 so far.

The automatic speaker detection is amazing though I have had a slight issue with timestamps when there are more than three speakers in long videos. That said overall, it has been great.

The editing area especially the timestamps is too small and requires a lot of attention which makes it hard to work with timestamps. Also the video editing section really needs improvement as I feel like managing videos should be easier.

There is a lot that I like about it. As Rask AI interface is simple to use, the results are quite accurate and the voice quality is really good.

I do not have many chances to test the performance before purchasing. One minute is fine but I would need more tries to test the performance for more videos and languages.

Living in Costa Rica and speaking Spanish I needed something quick to dub my English videos. I was really impressed by how easy and fast the dubbing process was. Plus the translation was spot on. But the best part was the AI voice cloning as it gave me the perfect voice and tone for my video. I have tried a lot of dubbing and translation tools but this one was the best by far.

Cons

The only thing I would like to mention is the pricing. As it is a little high but because of the quality of the final product, I could not pass it up.

Rask AI creates an incredibly realistic voice that sounds just like the original but in another language. The people I translated for were amazed by how accurate it was. Plus the transcription especially between German and English was outstanding. Also it is very easy to use and a video can be translated with the original voice in just minutes.

Well the only downside is having to buy additional minutes for video generation but I understand the processing power behind it. The result is still incredible.

After checking out HeyGen I came across Rask AI and it completely blew me away. The features, development stage and stability are way ahead of the competition. The interface is also really user friendly which makes it pretty easy for me to use. As someone who works with translations regularly, I found the experience great. Another plus is the competitive pricing as it is much more affordable compared to other services offering similar features. What really impressed me was how fast RaskAI exports videos. Unlike HeyGen which took over 30 minutes to export a one minute video, it did it in under a minute. I also appreciate how well it handles technical language in online courses. The translations are always accurate and natural making my learning experience much more enjoyable. Uploading materials is also not a problem with it and it takes care of the translation. Also it is pretty easy to download or view the translated content. I highly recommend RASK for anyone who needs to translate online courses as it is an effective tool that has made my learning journey both easier and more enjoyable.

A few times I have had an issue with it. Like there were moments when the English dub version lacked emotional depth which was surprising because the Spanish version with the same original audio track expressed emotions much better. This inconsistency in emotional expression impacted the viewing experience.

Uploading videos is quite a simple and quick task with it. Also the platform is really interactive and easy to use. I especially love the option to correct the text or upload the dubbed text in an SRT file.

For me living in Brazil the tool often picks Portuguese from Portugal instead of Brazilian Portuguese. I have to redo it a few times for it to recognize Brazilian Portuguese as the main language.

Plus it speeds up the entire process.

While the performance is amazing, the pricing can be a bit too high. Also some new features are exclusive to upgraded plans and do not come with a free trial. But considering the tool's overall quality, I would say it is a minor issue in comparison to all the benefits.
