Pros

With attacks and signatures becoming more varied and complex, having a centralized tool for detection and correlation is essential. This solution handles internal data sources like logs very effectively and can also correlate them with external Cyber Threat Intelligence. The strength of the UEBA engine which can be adjusted to different environments, helps reduce detection time and limits the amount of human effort required. Its built-in visualization, tracking and reporting capabilities also make day-to-day security event management much more efficient. On top of that, the use of standard protocols to ensure integrated and confidential log collection is a major advantage making deployment both secure and easy.

Cons

Because of how powerful the product is and the concepts behind it, it can be a bit hard to grasp for users who are not cybersecurity specialists. In that case, the learning curve can be somewhat long before becoming fully comfortable with it.

Getting started with it was easy and the use of open-source software really adds confidence in its reliability and long-term sustainability. The support team also shows great expertise which makes a real difference when help is needed.

Cons

The SSO still has room for improvement and the exported reports also need to be better adapted to multi-tenant environments.

The product's biggest strengths are definitely how easy it is to use and how quickly it integrates. On top of that, the partnership with the support teams is a real plus, they've been excellent.

Even though it's simple to use, it would still help to put more focus on user training so the team can adopt it more naturally in their day-to-day work.

Ergonomics are really well thought out, the detections are accurate and relevant and the I Trust team has been very efficient throughout the process.

Setting everything up does take some time although it still remains faster and better than what I've seen with competing solutions.

More than the software itself, the real strength to highlight is the professional and highly capable team behind it. I also appreciate that it's a product made in France which really matters in a context where cybersecurity is largely dominated by the United States, Russia and China.

We're an international ESN operating across every continent so we deal with wide time zone coverage and very different usage patterns especially with many consultants working directly at client sites. Because of that, we receive a large number of alerts and at times the Level 1 filtering could be improved.
