As a master's student, I struggled to find a reliable tool for 3D point cloud annotation until I discovered Segments.ai. They generously provided me with a free academic license, which was fantastic. This tool is precisely what I needed, it's easy to use, supports general formats like PCD (not just BIN formats), and they also send helpful emails and Google Colab notebooks.

Cons

There's really not much to dislike about Segments.ai. I'd love to see more videos on YouTube from them, as I find those incredibly useful.
