“An extraordinary tool yet very budget-friendly

Pros

No need for a physical NAS anymore as Spot AI gives me over 30 days of storage without the hassle. Also setup was smooth and I feel confident I can pull footage anytime I need it. Plus their support team gets back to me quickly whenever I have a question.

Cons

Well I am hoping future versions of the cameras come with built in extras like two way audio and maybe even spotlights as that would be very useful.

Pros

The setup process was quite simple and every time I had a question or concern, the team responded fast. Also I liked how clear the pricing model was which made it easy to figure out long term costs. It integrated into our system without a hitch and has made it so easy to manage users and monitor our facility's daily activities.

Cons

One thing I will say to keep in mind is that you will need pretty strong bandwidth to stream footage remotely without issues.

“Totally happy with it

Pros

Spot AI works great for us. We can view all our sites from one place whether we want to see them together or one by one. And the fact that it records both audio and video is perfect for the regulations we follow. Also it is easy to set up and does not take long to get used to.

Cons

Downloading videos for case use is not as easy as we expected. Also it takes a while and sometimes it times out before it finishes.

“Love the updates and how easy it is to use

Pros

Well I love the smart features like tracking foot or car traffic, creating video cases or following someone through different cameras. Also they are always listening to feedback and keep rolling out useful updates like dashboards to compare site data. Even setup is quick, using it is simple and even old DVRs can be connected. As an IT tech I use it constantly and their support team always jumps in fast with helpful solutions.

Cons

Spot AI can lean toward the pricey side but to be fair a lot of the features justify it. Also it would be awesome if the appliance came with its own DHCP router. And getting the angle right on the Turret and Dome cameras during setup is not always easy.

“Impressed with both the tech and tools

Pros

With Spot AI searching for events is really simple. I am with a property management company and being able to rotate through live camera views helps us keep tabs on all our locations across the country.

Cons

They only handle support through email like no phone calls but at least they usually respond quickly when I reach out.

Spot AI logs a lot of useful data that helps our business run more smoothly. With multi platform layouts, it is very easy to share updates with the team throughout the day. Plus video hosting is solid too especially when file size used to be a pain. The support crew is also very responsive and adapts to what we need through calls and emails.

Cons

Just a few small things have come up like wishing there was a pinch to zoom option on the mobile app. But the good thing is that the team acknowledged it and said it is on their list for upcoming updates.

It makes it easy to see all our properties in one dashboard. Also the platform's user friendly and support is always fast to respond. And folks like Logan and Eliza have made a big difference in why we keep choosing SpotAI for every new site we take on.

For our situation installation was a bit more complicated than expected and required extra cabling we had not planned for.

Honestly it has been proven to be really reliable for us. Everything works like it should and so far no one is had anything negative to say.

So far I have not come across anything negative with it. When I needed help getting access, they sorted it out without any hassle.

The video quality is sharp, also it is easy to navigate and getting access is never an issue for us.

We are still getting things dialed in since the system was just installed. One of our IVRs has been giving us a bit of trouble. But once everything is running smoothly, we will go ahead and schedule the training session.

What is awesome is we did not need to tear out our existing systems. Spot AI let us keep using our current cameras and DVRs so we had time to upgrade gradually.

Cons

The Azure SSO login works but it is not as streamlined as I would like. Also it would be nice if it could just log you in with one click instead of needing to enter an email.

“Solid cam system all around

Pros

Spot AI is pretty easy from the moment you start installing it. Even our older cameras that were basically useless before are working now. We tested it with all sorts of devices even ones far away connected over VPN and it handled everything well. We use it daily and it blends in nicely with our other camera setups too.

Cons

Honestly nothing really stands out as a downside. Everything has been running well for us so far.

It pulls all our cameras together from different sites into one system that is pretty easy to navigate and manage.

Cons

You have to be onsite for setup since the cameras and appliance won't show up across different subnets. That part is something I find a bit limiting.

“Both the sales and support folks are awesome

Pros

One of my favorite features is how simple it is to create cases and share video clips. We no longer need to burn footage to external drives. Plus the big storage space means we do not worry about hard drives wearing out anymore.

Cons

I have not run into anything I dislike yet. The software keeps improving and it feels like it is only going to get better from here.

“Very simple to get started with!

Pros

Getting the cameras installed was not a problem at all for us and using the system day to day has been just as smooth.

Cons

The first time I installed it was rough as I mounted the cameras before syncing them which meant a lot of climbing up and down ladders to fine tune things. As it is way easier if you link them to the system first then do the physical install. Also I am not a fan of how large the IVRs are as some places do not have room inside so I have had to use weatherproof boxes that can fit both the IVR and the networking gear.

Pros

Setup did not take long at all and we find the system very easy to work with. Whenever a camera had an issue, they replaced it for free which was awesome.

Cons

There is not much to complain about. As it may not have all the flashy features some other systems push but I would say at this price point it is hard to argue.

“Couldn't be simpler and it is affordable

Pros

What I really like is how simple everything is from adjusting settings to day to day use. Also the system quality is excellent and honestly I wish I had more reasons to explore all the features because it offers way more than we currently use. Overall it is a great value for what we paid.

Cons

I get why it is needed but I am not a fan of relying on a local PC for everything. Also I would prefer a setup that did not need that kind of dependency.
